Esperienza diversa dal classico hotel impersonale. Si dorme a casa di Aki e Taka condividendo gli spazi, c'è aria di famiglia.
Stanza al primo piano con futon molto comodi e spazio per i bagagli.
In casa ci sono lavandini e toilette, mentre per lavarsi si usano i bagni pubblici condivisi con chi abita in paese, con acqua di sorgente molto calda.
Il paese è piccolo e accogliente (andate a vedere la stazione).
Cena e colazione preparati da Aki, in una stanza della casa allestita come un'izakaya. Cibo molto buono e vario preparato al momento. Ed è l'occasione buona per due chiacchiere informali con i proprietari e gli altri ospiti.
Un'opportunità molto bella per vedere un pò di Giappone meno da cartolina e più caloroso.
Aki e Taka sono anche appassionati di manga e hanno una super collezione!
La posizione è molto buona per i laghi e i dintorni.

I padroni di casa sono gentilissimi e pieni di consigli. Ci hanno consentiti di utilizzare l'onsen vicino alla loro casa ed é stata un'esperienza fantastica. La camera é molto ampia e pulita. La cena e la colazione molto ricche e varie ci hanno permesso di assaggiare sapori autentici della cucina locale. Ambiente molto accogliente.

Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the grilled dinner every night, and the breakfast every morning. The public bath was an interesting experience.
The coffee was not very good.

Geen eigen badkamer. Je moest je eigen futonbed opmaken. Totaal geen flexibiliteit: we kwamen een uur eerder aan dan de inchecktijd. In plaats van dat we de bagage mochten droppen werden we gevraagd later terug te komen. Totaal geen flexibiliteit. De onsen was 200 m verder, dat was geen probleem, maar de onsen was ontzettend oud en gedateerd. Het hele dorp gaat hier naartoe. Beperkte openingstijden.
