Hotel Bosque del Mar Playa Hermosa

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful.

The hotel was under renovation and there was some noise.

Gorgeous jungle atmosphere and right on the beautiful beach

Gorgeous property located on the beach feels like you’re staying in a luxury treehouse. Staff were very warm and friendly, delicious food. Special thanks to Angie for the fantastic massage.

Direct access to the beach is great. But that’s all we liked about this hotel. Rooms are tiny, without any window, the AC extremely noisy. Cleaning questionable - I looked under the bed the day of check out to ensure I wasn’t leaving anything behind and discovered a thick layer of dust and dirt. Walls are very thin, so you hear all the noise from the road and music from the neighborhood, making it difficult to sleep. That would be fine if it didn’t cost $600+ per night, without breakfast! Restaurant was ok but prices are higher than US.
