The rooms is nice and clean
I am extremely disappointed by the way my mother was treated at breakfast. There were several empty tables by the pool, and when she politely asked to sit at one of them, the manager refused, saying it was reserved for four people. Moments later, he allowed another guest who was dining alone to sit at that very same table.
Not only was she asked to sit inside while the restaurant was nearly empty, but the manager’s attitude towards her was unwelcoming and disrespectful. Watching other guests being treated warmly while my mother was treated differently was deeply upsetting.
My mother wears a hijab, and although I cannot know the reason for this treatment, the experience left us questioning whether that played a role. Hospitality means treating every guest with equal respect and kindness. Sadly, that was not our experience.
Secondly
I was assigned a room directly beneath ongoing maintenance work without any prior notice or warning. The noise was constant and unacceptable, making it impossible to properly rest. At no point before check-in was I informed that maintenance work was taking place above my room, nor was I given the opportunity to consent to the room assignment or request an alternative. Had I been informed, I would never have accepted the room. I paid for comfort and tranquility, not to be disturbed by construction and maintenance noise.
And at 11:30am they started calling to check out 😅
