The property was great, amazing location but I was very disappointed that they insisted on charging me for a night, after all flights to Catania were cancelled after Mt Etna erupted. This was totally out of my control. The most annoying part was that the charged me for the room for the night and then rented the room out, which meant they got paid twice for the room for the one night. I ended up getting to Sicily by ferry the next day, Even though I had paid for the room, it was not ready for me on arrival as they had other guests stay there. I felt this was unfair. I understand the cancellation policy but they should not have charged me
The attitude of the staff. Nobody could resolve the issue. The manager was supposed to call me but didn’t. They never got back to me, just took my money
