Breakfast was excellent. The cheese and meat plate was great. Multiple selection prepared for us. We have an early start on our last day, Chiarra packed an light breakfast for us the night before.

I enjoyed getting to stay in a farmhouse and get to know the family that lives there. I enjoyed the breakfast there every morning. I really loved our view from the top floor - it overlooked other farms in the area. We got to see wild pigs running around. I also liked that we could visit and interact with the animals.
We came during Italy's heatwave and there was no A/C, only a small fan for the large room. I completely understand that temperatures are not usually that hot, but since they had been for months, it would have been nice if we could have had more than 1 fan. We asked but the family only had one for us, so we propped open all the windows with whatever items we could find and we created a wind tunnel. This worked nicely because there were no bugs.
The owners offer a whole menu of activities that you can sign up for including cooking classes and tours of the property. We tried calling to book ahead of time but were told by the customer service rep that we could just book there. Once we arrived there, we asked the owner about scheduling 2 activities. He told us we could arrange these activities by communicating with him over Whatsapp after 5pm when we'd be back from a day out. We tried contacting him a couple of times but wouldn't receive responses until much later when it was already too late. After checkout, we were sent an apology and were told that the family was stretched too thin so could not accommodate.
Lastly, there were so many animals on the property - donkeys, goats, rabbits, sheep, geese - which was wonderful! We loved spending time with them, but in the 3 days that we were there, I got the impression that many of them don't get much time out of their stalls. Repeatedly, day and night, the donkeys would make that signature distress/lonely cry. It really made me sad.

This accommodation was perfect. if you're looking for an authentic traditional Tuscan villa then this is your place. Situated just outside Montepulciano, this authentic Tuscan house has so much history and beautifully preserved by the host and his family.
A lovely breakfast was served each morning by the hosts mother all freshly prepared.
The accommodation is a small working farm and also operates as an Equestrian centre offering horse trekking for guests.
`I can't recommend it highly enough and it was excellent value for money'
Nothing to complain about at all. I would recommend travelling by hire car as its a little way outside Montepulciano.
