It’s a gorgeous little Eden! Graziano and Teresa’s gardens are beautiful and really give the property a romantic ambience. There are outdoor seating areas to relax or enjoy a take out meal. There is also a water machine with your choice of warm/cold still or sparkling. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and well furnished with lots of creature comforts. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready but Graziano and Teresa took our bags and handed us beach towels and we had a lovely swim at a little beach just a few minutes walk from the property. It really felt like we were staying with family. Graziano shared with us some highlights of the island and gave us great advice. His eatery recommendations were top notch. Although there is at least one other unit on the premises, they’re separate and we didn’t even hear the other tenants. On our last night our hosts shared some of their homemade limoncello and I don’t know how I’m supposed to drink any other kind after that, lol. The bus stop was close by and a supermarket was near as well.
It’s a bit of a hike uphill from the port but it was our choice to walk it; we could easily have taken the bus or a taxi. Graziano sent us great pictorial instructions which made the property easy to find. It was an easy trek downhill, though.

It was beautiful, garden was full of lemons close to the mountains and the main marina was walking distance to me .
The mosquitos 😬 but then it’s understandable because of trees and nature . But the they amazing detailing things for solo traveller in the bathroom . Shower cap / make remover / cotton buds , small details were very kind of the couple.

By staying in Palazzo al Mare you experience the real Capri, away from the swarms of tourists - a real oasis of calm. It’s built on the remains of a Roman villa, and further excavations are visible nearby - a gold mine for a romanophile such as myself. But the greatest treasures are the hosts - kind, generous and helpful. It was a privilege to stay in their home - we will definitely be back!

Magnific garden.
Outstandig hosting. Tereza and her husbend were warm, empathetic and we spent a lot of time togeter. Beautiful humans.
