A lovely room in this well-organised and friendly quaint hotel. Totally different from the “industrial” tourist hotels with over a thousand beds. The outdoor areas were delightful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I’m no longer young and I had not appreciated the effort required to walk up the steep cobbled streets. I used taxis all the time which proved to be efficient and not expensive, and the added benefit was that I saw parts of Santa Cruz that I never would normally have seen.
