Nice little hotel right at the beach and sea. Vintage sixties and seventies style. Not much has changed since then but rooms are ok, the lights work and the shower is good.

Unfortunately the bed and wifi are also from the sixties and seventies.

Excellent location and price

Bed wasn’t very comfy and when turned over was very noisy plus headboard which wasn’t attached to bed.

Placement is brilliant, straight by the beachfront. And that one can just step outside, and sit on the boardwalk to have your coffee. Unfortunately there was cockroaches (I looked, and saw that also others have mentioned this). The staff, meaning the woman that cleans, and the man in the reception, are really nice. (He laughed, and gave me a spray for the bugs when I asked, meaning to have remembered that it should not be so good to just 'stomp them', as it could attract more). There was a third person, woman, there the day of my departure, that was not so nice. Didnt look at me at all.. only mumbled in contempt .."Madre Mia..".. when there was a question if i could leave my luggage there until I could go elsewhere later in the day. Maybe the owner or the manager? ( having some attitude, for running a place that keeps people scared of potentially catching roaches in their luggage). Airconditoner- doesnt have a remote, so one needs to stand on a chair to operate it. Not a big deal- but might be an issue for some.

Cockroaches mainly. I took my chance on staying, due to the placement (.. I could hear the waves from the sea through the window in the night). Only made sure to keep the luggage shut tight and standing; away from the floor at least, when i discovered the roaches. I have been there before, and didnt see roaches there (only a bit smell from the bathroom, in one of the rooms facing the backyard), but can see it is mentioned in also other rooms from the reviews. The roaches are small- from 1-3 cm; some are nymphs (smaller- the smashed one in the toilet is one of the smaller- ab 1 cm) and there also was a tiny one, about 2-3 mm, on my nightstand the second last morning. I've had them identified as German roaches- meaning it is the ones that might infest houses.. and there is a possibility that actually all sizes to be found is a sign of an infestation (- though the place.itslef claim they come from the outside). (Normally its the bigger ones, the sc American, that mainly lives outside, and sometimes gets bewildered into the houses) Meaning that people should make sure not to catch any in their luggage.. On the practical side I think there should have been a fridge- with the possibilities of keeping some things fresh in the heat. And the matress was not the most comfortable (having seen different kind of places, I use a jacket as a cover of the matress, to try ease such elements a little bit).
