Rooms were clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the balcony. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Budget friendly considering the location. Good local breakfast option.

Exceptional

My partner and I stayed here in November 2022. Host and staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was right on the beach. You could walk to the beach from the hotel lobby. The Sri Lankan breakfast was very good and contained many varieties. (String Hoppers, Hoppers, Coconut Roti, multiple curries and fruits) We once ordered Lunch and it was very good with unique Sri Lankan vegetables and I have to mention the extra dish of delicious fried fish. Host upgraded us to a larger room which had a bigger balcony for no extra cost. There was a view of the beach from the room and sunset was really nice. Very relaxing and we enjoyed it.

beautiful place!

it’s right at the beach, if you get the sea view room you just wake up to the unobstructed view. rooms are clean, well equipped.

WiFi service could be better, although fully available at common area.

Best rooms in Narigama Beach

Yula Beach was exceptionally clean and comfortable with probably the best, most spacious and modern rooms in all of Narigama Beach. The sea views were spectacular and unobstructed. Will always stay there if in Hikkaduwa. The staff were also amazing and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The location is exceptional and the room was very comfortable. the beds are so nice and the air con is very powerful! The staff were very attentive and so helpful around the power cuts. Close to lots of bars and restaurants

Wonderful hotel directly on the beach. Great view from the rooms. Very friendly and helpful people, nice restaurants nearby. The room was really comfortable, new, big and clean. All together: we had a wonderful time there and can highly recommend it.

Wifi in the rooms very slow. In the lobby it is fine.

Would recommend the deluxe double with sea view

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty, especially the rotty wrap. Room was really nice and balcony was spacious with great view of the beach/sea. Bathroom was great.

Central location next to all the bars and restaurants that are starting to get busier decent breakfast nice balcony quiet at night downstairs Nice friendly staff Cheap drinks

No WiFi in the rooms but good to get a break from it anyway ;) Nothing to do with the hotel but the sea is dangerous to swim in- lots of currents and rips- better to go to Hikkaduwa beach for calmer water!

Very good

Room was really great. For that money you get safe, ocean view balcony, nice bathroom and pretty good room itself. Free breakfast was simple but good. You choose between scrambled eggs and omelette, tea and coffee. Additionally get toasts with jam and butter. To finish your meal they cook smoothie made of papaya, pineapple and other local fruits.

When we arrived the tourist season only has started, so no hotel restaurant nor beach bar was working. Also, you can't connect to WiFi from your room. Lobby is the only place where it's reachable.

Comfortable but not great

We liked the room and the view was great Easy access to great restaurants nearby and shops

Staff weren't very friendly, felt like we were imposing on their space. We didn't feel very welcome , they all sit in the main area and when you come down the stairs they all stare at you. And while you trying to eat the sub standard breakfast they all talking loud. We also didn't like that all you are given is a sheet to cover while sleeping, when requesting a blanket I got offered another sheet? Then I wasn't happy so I got given a shabby Qatar airways single blanket. The noise from the traffic and buses keeps you awake a lot of the time The barking dogs on the beach can also be an issue from time to time early hours We weren't offered a different menu for them to make more money for lunch or dinner, We saw they offered tours, nothing was sold to us Considering we were the only people staying, we thought they would up sell. We went elsewhere for a tour and food No lighting outside
