Ascos Coral Beach Hotel

The hotel is lovely and in a very good location surrounded by all your daily needs. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part and the staff was also very nice and helpful.

We only had breakfast which had a great selection however, the quality of the food was not very good. The hotel needs a good upgrade of certain things especially the bathrooms which can be a simple fix.

What we liked most was the great variety of food at breakfast and dinner. The food was very tasty. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were large and spacious. We especially appreciated the chefs and waiters, who were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a lot of potential, especially because of its beautiful beach and great location. However, we feel that more attention could be given to maintaining and improving the beach area. We were also disappointed to see rubbish being stored behind the hotel, as it sometimes causes an unpleasant smell that can be noticed both on the beach and around the pool area. This slightly affects the otherwise pleasant surroundings and overall experience. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, the hotel could be even more enjoyable.

The location was great and also value for money. The dinner and the breakfast was nice too! The pool area was really great.

Our rooms balcony had a really bad smell and when we open the door to leave something outside the smell came in to the room and it smell like dogs. Also overall the area where the hotel rooms were had a weird smell which it was unpleasant. Also the bathroom was not really clean.

I would like to recognize your front desk and service staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool facilities. Additionally, we appreciate that the team & manager attempted to make amends by offering us half-board dining and a late check-out. While these gestures were certainly appreciated, they unfortunately did not fully offset the inconvenience caused by the room's condition and maintenance shortfalls.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with our recent stay. Despite management assurances that our accommodations were pre-inspected, room conditions were entirely unacceptable. Additionally, operational handling was inconsistent; late check-out was initially restricted to a single room, requiring extensive back-and-forth debate before the accommodation was extended to our second room the last day morning. Specifically, we encountered several major issues during our stay: Hygiene and Cleanliness: The initial room was unhygienic, featuring dirty towels and an uncleaned bathroom. Additionally, the trash bin in our second room had not been emptied. Maintenance Issues: The bathtub was damaged, causing water to leak onto the floor. Furthermore, our key cards repeatedly failed to work, which staff dismissed as a proximity issue with our mobile phones rather than addressing the malfunction. Understaffing and Service Delays: The property appears significantly understaffed. We were forced to wait over two hours just to receive clean bedsheets due to a shortage of linens and staff. How is it possible to have only 1 housekeeper for the preparation of all the hotel rooms and not enough laundry machines? Inadequate Amenities: The Wi-Fi service was consistently non-functional. Staff attributed this to high occupancy; however, given that August is peak season, appropriate network capacity should be anticipated and provided as advertised. Overall, the property is outdated and in urgent need of full renovation. The combination of poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, and inadequate staffing severely impacted our stay.
