Mory House

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Mory House. From the start when we were greeted by Patrick, everything that we could wish for was there. We really appreciated the fact that breakfast was in our room. There were many options to choose from and everything that we had was delicious and with such fresh ingredients. The room itself was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The road is quiet so we slept very well both nights (also very close to the beach). The shower was great and everything was spotlessly clean and there were some other lovely touches like brownies/sweets in the lobby that we could help ourselves to, and umbrellas available by the door. Patrick and Jane have thought of everything!

We had a fantastic stay. The little touches really made a difference, from the excellent coffee and tea station, complimentary refreshments in the fridge to the well-stocked bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries- even a rubber ducky! We arrived on one of the hottest nights of the year, and the owners kindly called beforehand to let us know our top-floor room would be super hot. They were incredibly honest and accommodating, providing a fan and offering us another room the next day. Breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of beautifully presented options. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break, with the beach a short walk away along the cliff top with lovely views. A wonderful stay– comfortable, welcoming and the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London. We would happily stay again.

Temperature, we went on the hottest weekend, and was on the top floor, no air conditioning just a fan and it was very warm in the room.

Perfect location between the high street and the beach. Parking out the front with good sized accessible spaces. Room was clean and well furnished with good natural light, a well stocked tea/coffee station, Smart TV and a comfy bed. Bathroom was modern and clean with a hot well pressured shower. Owners were available, friendly and clearly take a great deal of pride in the property and their service. Breakfast was perfect, cooked to perfection, hot and delicious with a good choice of food. Would recommend this stay to anyone considering staying in Southbourne for any number of nights.
