Clean and comfortable stay in the best location.

Very nice and friendly staff, very spacious and comfortable room with a wonderful view of the stupa. Area is very safe and it is easy to get around. The rooftop terrace is a very nice bonus, I did some yoga there and really enjoyed it. Also, the access to the common kitchen is very practical.

Delightful!

My stay in this beautiful guesthouse was incredible! Lovely spacious room with huge windows overlooking the Kathmandu valley and surrounding hills. There’s also an easy access to the rooftop with the stunning sunrise/sunset views🥰. In good weather you could see the snowy mountains tops from out there! Clean restroom with hot water. Nice well equipped kitchen, fridge. All the dishes, cups, silverware and pots are present. Little well kept garden was full of flowers in spring! Property is generally very well maintained and looked after with the great love and attention to the details. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. A short taxi ride to Thamel and 7 min walk to the main entrance to Swayambhu (monkey temple). The owners of the guesthouse Valeria and Alex are extremely friendly and helpful! I’m very grateful for this fabulous stay!

I will stay here whenever I am back in KTM. The place was very peaceful, quiet and clean - with amazing views of Kathmandu and the Monkey Temple. The rooftop & meditation room were a highlight for me. Location was not too far away so that you felt out of the mix. The hosts (Naidoop and Jonh) were also very accomodating and helpful with local knowledge, and things to look out for for first time travellers.

Made with love

This is "Top 3" in my own hostels rating. We felt like at home of the best friend: cooked and eat in the kitchen, chilled on the roof and in the yard looking at Swayambhu. The housekeeper was perfect, very kind and helpful. The room was also very nice: nothing super-special but "made with love".

Superb

Fantastic hosts arranged additional services for seeing Nepal and were very informative and warm. Visiting for the first time and for 4 days our stay turned into the most wonderful and meaningful experience of Katmandu and beyond. and The hotel is very neat. The kitchen/cafeteria is very convenient and cozy.

A very nice relaxing place near the Swayambhu Temple.

A very nice quiet location, but only a few minutes walk from the Swayambhu Temple. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

An example of a perfect guesthouse

This is a great place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Spotlessly clean, in a very quiet and peaceful location. Wonderful view from the roof top towards the valley and Swayambhu Stupa. We enjoyed our evening in the garden. The owners are very nice people with a gentle character of hospitality. The locally sourced breakfast in nearby BIA cafe was impeccable. This may have been the first time we stayed here, it certainly won't be the last! Will come back again after our trip from the mountains.

Different service standard from my previous stay.

Convenient location with BIA cafe at a stone’s throw away

Staff asked to pay for 4 night stays upon check in. Wasn’t clear about the fee and dos and don’ts of washing clothes using the washing machine vs self hand washing. First time hearing from a staff that the boss complained 😅 about guest self hand washing clothes.

Location does not offer great many restaurants, except an excellent one.

Our overall stay was good we wish to spend more time here if we had a chance to came back again.🙏

Very nice and cozy environment rooms were clean, you will get to see the view of Swayambhunath from rooftop the staffs were welcoming, and the plus point is you can use the common kitchen 24/7. And also thanks to the owners for the great hospitality.

It would be great if you add ac/ fan in the rooms we had to deal with the mosquito whole night.

Really best view to the city. very good neighborhood, quite. clean rooms, good service. friendly community the center of Kathmandu is very noisy, but in this guest house you REALLY rest and breath. there is a fancy European style cafe BIA, where you can have best coffee and read a book. a lot of monks are in this neighborhood because of the monasteries. they are very friendly: we felt very safe and secure in this guest house. there is also a rooftop where you can sit and do yoga or mediate.

no hygienic shower (which is overall in Nepal) only toilet paper.

View to Swayambhu, just for you!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful host and personnel. Breathtaking view to Swayambhu Nath! Less then five minutes to walk there.

The narrow road from the main Street to the hotel, approx. 300m, has no light at night. But it seems to be a safe neighborhood.
