This is one of the best opportunitys to do safari in Yale. Kitchen was amazing. We got all dishes according our taste. We love Sri Lankan food and we like spicy. First they hesitatetd a bit, if we really could digest it, beacuse there normal guest from Europe usually dont. We could even make string hoppers by ourselfs. The accomadation in the fixed tents was ideal for Safari feeling The safaris in Yale were amazing and with some luck we had very good sightings of leopards, bears .... Guide and driver were a perfect team and did a great job. We stayed for 2 nights and we recommend this as a minimum. It was worth evey single penny to be there. Thanks to all the team of the lodge. We had a perfect time with all of you!

Beautiful and authentic set up, in keeping with the natural surroundings. Tents and accommodation is very comfortable while still enabling you to feel immersed in your surroundings.
The staff were very kind and helpful; they gave us 5-star service across the board during our stay both while at camp and on safari. We felt very welcomed by all.
Safari was brilliant. Our driver was incredibly skilled, getting across the park quickly and safely so we saw as much as possible. Our guide was also incredibly knowledgeable. All made sure we could see as much wildlife as possible.
Lastly, the food was incredible. Every meal was 10/10 - the best we have had during our time in sri lanka. We even got to make our own hoppers. They were very accommodating for my girlfriend who is a vegan also
Cannot recommend this place enough if you want to go on a safari in Yala

We loved our stay-we were the only guests so we were very spoilt. Everything from our welcome to our goodbye was excellent. The lunch was trad. SL food, which was divine. Our safari was excellent with Nikki as our guide who spoke very good English. The dinner outside with a bonfire and freshly made food was spectacular too. We were very comfortable. Doggies were great protectors!

Beautiful location- perfect for our family of 7 with 5 Teens.
The accommodation was excellent and we were all really well looked after and made to feel comfortable.
The staff are all so friendly and it did not feel fake. Our Teens had great fun playing games in the communal area and relaxing together. We stayed for two nights and did a full day safari in Yala block 5…. This did not disappoint and we saw a wide variety of animals including Leopards, Sloth Bear, tonnes of amazing birds, elephants and crocodiles. It felt ethical and our guides were very considerate of the animals and we did not feel we were in crowds of people at all.
The food at Camp Leopard was some of the best food we ate during our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka- we ate evening meals outside and had a great variety of meat and vegetarian food to cater for us all.
Would highly recommend.
