Amazing property in the buffer zone of Yala National Park. The tent is cozy, nothing luxurious but still very comfortable. The staff is friendly and always helpful, the food was really good too, although a bit pricey. The safari was amazing: even though we couldn’t see any leopard or elephant inside Yala, the rangers made sure we could see some elephants along the road back to the camp after our safari
For breakfast and dinner we were given a lot of food, which we couldn’t finish. They assured it fed the dogs who live there and nothing went wasted

It was a lovely camp.
The staff were very kind and trying their best to make it comfortable.
It was clean and well maintained.
I loved the dogs
I highly recommend them for safari, though, as I could see that the guide and driver were really professional and interested. We spotted 3 Leopards 🐆 😀
I would not call it "Glamping" as it was definitely not glamorous but just really comfortable camping.
The shower was not a proper shower. There was no hot water, and the water flow was very weak.
I would definitely not stay more than one night.
The person doing the communications via WhatsApp had a lot of questions before I went, but the information was never passed onto the staff at the camp. So what was the point of asking ne so many things before hand.

The best experience, the staff was so friendly and helpful even with last minute request. The safari also was the best!
Nothing, I loved everything!

The staff were excellent, the safari drivers were excellent. The location was near the entrance to Yala National Park, and they tried to make our experience very special. We saw lots of wild animals including elephants, 2 kinds of monkeys, crocodiles, boars, water-buffalo, big lizards, mongoose, peacocks, eagles, owls, lots of deer, 4 sloth bears, and even a leopard!
It is a rustic experience, so don't expect too much! The roads are very bumpy, water pressure was very low, they couldn't start a bonfire although they really tried, and the food was so-so - some too spicy, some rather bland.

This camp is a wonderful experience during my whole trip to Sri Lanka. Wonderful setting with a hot water shower and enough drinking water, air conditioning. Chathu is really nice and wonderful, we love her so much. Wonderful introduction with experienced knowledge! it’s worthy.

Nothing. Even if it is expensive it is worth it every penny.

Amazing introduction to wildlife in Sri Lanka. The staff is very experienced and the facilities of this camp are great.
Camp was not in the park itself, but still amazing experience. Unfortunately didnt see leopards from closeby on our afternoon safari.

I could not recommend Camp Leopard enough! You get to go drive with a safari guide. Mark - our guide & the founder of camp leopard was INCREDIBLE and so keen to share his passion/knowledge. Going with Mark in the car meant we saw much more than going with just a driver and we learnt the backstories/additional fun facts of individual animals. The only other way you really get to go with a safari guide is if you stay at a very high end hotel (if you just head to the gates you will get a driver in a jeep, but not a guide). Another major benefit of staying at camp leopard is due to their location they enter Yala national park through a different entrance to the majority of other jeeps meaning the areas you explore are often quieter. To really top it off, the glamping, staff and food are great. If there is one thing you have to do/splurge on in Sri Lanka it is this (if you can only do one safari, I would recommend doing the early morning one … it is worth the early morning!)

The camp met our expectations and the photos are accurate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to feel like staying in the wilderness, as the camp is not close to any roads. It is best to go there by four wheel drive. We got picked up by the staff from the main road. It is a bumpy ride, just like the safari, which gives it an even more adventurous taste. The camp and the tent are cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with what you need for a few nights in this hot area, like air conditioning, refillable water bottles and tasty refreshing drinks. We also liked the meals they served, among which we preferred the lunch, a very good rice and curry. The safaris we made with them were fun and well organised. Even if it might be a little pricey compared to other places, we had a good time and can recommend.
The curtain used to close the tent was a little damaged, which means it did not fully close. We thought smaller animals might sneak in through that hole, which was not the case the night we stayed there.
The communication upfront was a little confusing. Days before our arrival, we asked a few organisational questions. We had to send several reminders as we barely received replies. However, in the end everything worked out well and we did not have any big issues.

Most beautiful experience staying in a hut right on the edge of yala national park. Staff couldn't do enough for us. The safari guide was truly amazing, we could have listened to all his knowledge and stories for days. The best experience in the whole sri lanka stay. Wouldn't recommend any other safari company over this. The guide was that skilled he was tracking the leopard from the sounds the other animals in the bushes and we managed to see the leopard for 15 minutes. Food was amazing, stay was clean and comfortable. Tree top tea was a nice little touch. Everything perfect

The staff at Camp Leopard are phenomenal. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. They immediately treated us like friends and taught us about the animals, food, and culture. It is extremely clean throughout the campsite and no worries about the heat! There is an air conditioner in the tent! the food was fantastic with generous portions. it was a wonderful experience!

We stayed at Camp Leopard - Yala for one night and it was a very exceptional experience beyond our expectations. The staff was very friendly and especially Chatu consistently made sure we were comfortable at any time. We booked an afternoon safari with them and we got very lucky with seeing a lazy leopard, huge tusker, lots of beautiful birds and so on. We got picked up by Anjallee when we arrived, she was also the safari guide, you can notice how experienced she is. The owner Marc is one of these people that have this amazing positive energy, he is very passionate about what he is doing and you can see that everyone who is working with him is putting a lot of effort in this place as well. For the four course dinner they set up a lovely decorated table in the garden with lots of cozy lightening and next to the fire place. We will definitely send our friends here and will hopefully come back some time!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent , almost like a 5 starred hotel. We were treated like a 5 starred guests , partly maybe becoz there were no other guests, and you can tell the camp’s genuine attempt at doing their best ,
None really , although after two years of covid , some of the facilities were a little old and unused, like a power point in the tent was spoilt, and some parts of the canvas was broken due to wear and tear , but all still manageable…

The location and the staff are incredible!! The team was very nice and helpful, Chathuni made us feel at home and Mark taught us all about nature and the park, it was just great.
The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with private bathroom, AC and wifi. The place itself is great, you can relax there before/ after the safaris. Actually, they also organize the safaris, which is very convenient.
We will definitely come back if we visit Yala again.
They are improving the checking process, it wasn't that easy in our case, but it was worth it :)

Definitely "Glamping" - everything you would get in a hotel, but right up against the Yala park fence in luxury tents.
Fantastic guide for our safari drive - he knew so much. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, and the food was great too.

Perfect place for a safari and wildlife experience. The tents are comfortable (even with A/C) and clean. The camp is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. At night you will be surrounded by lights and can enjoy a delicious dinner. Staff is incredibly friendly and will make your stay perfect. For the safari you will have an experienced guide that can actually inform you about yala national park and its wildlife. Good value for money, would definitely come back and recommend. Also they have a no plastic policy and are supporting strays which already wins an award for me. Thanks for the nice time!
