I had an early Lukla flight so no time to enjoy dining but dining room looked cozy.Somebody woke up around 4:00 am to handle my check-out and I caught my flight
After exhausting trek from Phadking, i arrived Lama Hotel at disk. I checked in and climbed to the a top floor. The host flipped the light switch on after which all electricity turned off. He explained there was a problem with it and went downstairs to work on it. Meantime, this presented me a dilemma since there were only a few minutes of daylight left. I HAD to unpack and try to take a badly needed shower before it turned completely black. I had a small torch and knew I had only seconds left to take a shower and get settles in before complete darkness, I somehow managed to pull this off but was stressed to the max not knowing if I could do it before chill settled in . Seconds after I did this the power flipped on, then off, finally on! I made it!

The staff are super friendly. The coffee is fantastic and the location is great.
The bathroom is terrible and coukd use a good clean. I know Its probably not easy to have things perfect due to the location of Lukla but a good clean isn't hard

"It’s a family business so your happiness is their priority. The son whose English is perfect, was the standout as he could and did, fix every request I made. Great value, superb location and excellent..."
