Great location and saunas.
The food was good overall. Some meals can be improved - the meat was a bit chewy in a few cases. Breakfast can be more traditional - specially diary’s (butter), but it was varied enough.
No campfire although the hotel was fully booked and everybody was asking for it.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and nice facilities. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains, with access to good food and a pool, I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for one night only, we knew that Sureanu Ski resort was closed but with lots of fresh snow. We were pretty much the only tourists on the mountain. We arrived after midnight, since we were the only ones we've received the most expensive room uprgrade without even asking for. The apartment at last floor was fabulous, it worths every penny for the next season.
Food was great and very cheap.
Since the skilifts where closed (cause the season ended) we've rented snowmobiles from them to go on the peaks with Mihai (their snowmobile guide).
It was a blast!

The apartment we booked was very large and very comfortable. The location offers many opportunities for activities (hiking and mountain biking mainly). The staff is friendly.
The food is very basic (sometimes even bad) and is the only option you have at the location. It would have been ok if the hosts informed us before hand that the nearest store/supermarket is at 1,5 hours away ( 3 hours round trip).
