Lovely stay, will reccommend.

The home had old world charm, the rooms were spacious, spotless and beds comfortable. Our Host was friendly, and our breakfast great. The coffee was exceptional!

Mooie uitvalsbasis om een Sani Pass-tour te doen, gelegen in een parkachtige tuin.

Het gebouw gelegen in een parkachtige tuin. Het bed sliep lekker. De douche was prima, ook al was de waterdruk niet stabiel. Het personeel was vriendelijke en behulpzaam.

In een andere beoordeling las ik dat het oud, afgeleefd en wat viezig overkwam. Blijkbaar is sprake van een reeds opgeknapt/gerenoveerd deel, dat ik ook gezien heb en dat prima overkwam, en een deel waar renovatie nog moet gebeuren. Ik sliep in die laatste categorie en ik vermoed de bezoeker van die beoordeling ook, ergo, ik ben het om die reden toch met die beoordeling eens, ondanks een fijn verblijf.

Fantastic accomodation and beautiful food and gardens

Really spacious room and facilities, lovely breakfast, beautiful gardens and safe location. Close to food options, petrol station and good and reasonably priced food at the country club. The lady that looked after us was fabulous but I can't remember her name. So helpful. We couldn't have asked for more

Beautiful manor in a magnificent part of South Africa. Perfect!

A great old manor with spacious rooms and a beautiful garden located in the southern Drakensbergen area serves as a perfect place to explore the area or go up Sani Pass to Lesotho. Very friendly owners and great breakfast to ensure a memorable stay. We really enjoyed our visit.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. My daughter and I shared a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms, a kitchen and lovely seating area. Electric blankets were a welcome necessity for the minus 4 temperature during the night.

staying at grandmas house!

this old house is like 120 years old and it has a lot of antique touches. I said it looked like a grandmas house in the countryside and the owner laughed and said I was staying in grandmas old room! it is quite centric in town. electric blankets for cold winter nights and I had a bathtub in the room. breakfast was good and lots of birds in the yard.

Cedar Gardens is an absolutely fantastic place to stay, and we salute you!

On arrival- early! Darren met us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome- he could not have been more charming. The breakfasts were fantastic. The staff very friendly and helpful. Our hosts, Darren, Monica and Helga went that extra mile. Cedar Gardens, what a gracious and understated elegant home- it was a privilge to stay there- and we shall return. The added bonus was meeting again Norman and to meet Monica, and catch up on connections! and what a wonderful morning we spent chatting. The saying home is best does not apply at Cedar Gardens. Cedar Gardens is certainly the gem of Underberg!- and we shall certainly recommend this superb accomdation.
