The location was beautiful very peaceful and had a pretty view of the sea easy access to places

The property is in beautiful location but needs a little TLC , new little table and chairs on the patio as only one old dirty chair , hot tub was fine , decking very old and the grass needed a cut , This property has everything you need so just sad to see they hadn't made much effort with it ,

Loved the hot tub at the end of the day after doing some spectacular walks. Garden was lovely with a sea view. A few steps down the lane led to the little beach but a short walk over the hill ended on a lovely quiet sandy beach. The sunsets were spectacular. We got back to the cottage around 4.30 a couple of days to be stopped by a heard of cows on the way to milking which was novel. The cottage was comfortable with a good powerful shower

The decking around the hot tub requires repairs and the windows and bathroom tiles could do with a good clean. Some of the crockery required washing before use. That said we would stay at the cottage again. With a little TLC this cottage would be 5 stars

Attitude of owner, who first contacted me only 48hrs before our stay, to tell me not to use the dishwasher as it was leaking and to bring my own towels, tea towels etc ...due to COVID!? Despite the listing stating that all were included. No apologies for inconvenience, which I thought was pretty rude, along with the overall tone of the message. I responded and asked if I could cancel and get a refund, as a dishwasher is one of my main requirements, due to hygiene. His response was " you have to call the agent", so I did, following several more messages to him which all got negative, or unhelpful replies. Strangely, the owner then continued to ignore all contact from Booking.com, who tried on several occasions to get a response. The owner was obviously ignoring them. Anyway, it looked like we weren't going to get our money back, so we went to Colman Bach, we didn't want to be out of pocket or waste the precious time off that we'd booked. Superficial cleanliness looked acceptable on arrival, however, the bed when I stripped it, it was disgusting! Stained mattress (no protector!) And God only knows when the duvet was last washed! Yuk! (See photos) and ZOOM in if you dare!!! No bulb in one bedside lamp and blown bulb in high kitchen ceiling light had not been replaced. Freezer compartment on fridge freezer was iced up. 2 notices on the kitchen cupboard (See photos). One of my photos shows the sofa about 30 mins after our arrival, after I removed a blanket covering it! I messaged the owner with photos...as I didn't want him to think it was caused by our dog (and therefore be charged extra for cleaning!). He replied immediately stating that he would report it to his cleaners, nothing more than that! ...and again NO apology whatsoever! I know holiday properties are not obliged to leave any supplies, BUT here's what was left for us...
