We were a group of 12 adults. All parties were comfortable and had plenty of space to relax. The owner of the home has thought of everything and has plenty of house supplies that may come up during your stay. All of the cute little pictures with information on how to access certain features throughout the home were very thoughtful of the owner and helpful for us. The location is extremely convenient. The town of Twainheart is minutes away along with the Casino about 5-6 Miles away. Getting up to the Dodge Ridge ski resort was about a 45 min trip and very easy to get there. We would definitely come back to this beautiful home for our next large group snow trip.

We had 11 in our group, made up of two families. How would we ever find a place with enough space, so that we that we would never feel cramped? Well...we found it here at this wonderful mountain retreat! With three levels and 5 rooms with sleeping accommodations, we even had an extra bedroom that we did no even use. The location was perfect! We made our way out to Dodge Ridge for skiing, Long Barn for ice skating, and Crystal Springs for sledding; but the highlight of our short stay was playing Loteria (bingo) with all 11 of us on the spacious dining table on a rainy night - lot's of laughter and quality time with friends and family. As an STR owner myself, there is nothing bad to say about this wonderful property and the accommodating hosts!

Our large family group, including four teenagers, had an amazing time here. The large common space was warm and inviting with a large stone fireplace, long dining room, and a big kitchen. The cabin is so big that the three married couples were able to spread out and each have a room on the three floors, providing privacy and enough space that we wouldn’t get on each others nerves! The wraparound deck had plenty of tables and chairs as well as beautiful views of the forest’s majesty all around you. We enjoyed an afternoon sitting around their propane fire pit table drinking coffee while the weather permitted. The cabin has the perfect blend of secluded enough to feel like a real getaway, yet not so far off the beaten path that one gets uneasy. Finally, the owner communicated with me when I needed her and was very detailed and pleasant in our interactions. We would certainly stay here again!

This VRBO deserves a 5 star review! We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and well stocked. The property is quite beautiful with many deer roaming around the area. It’s quiet and feels far from civilization, but is not. The host was easy to reach and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. We would definitely return. The pictures for this property don’t do it justice. The property is a pristine home nestled at the top of a hilly road away from the other properties. The view off the back deck is serene and the deck itself is a great spot to hang out and mingle, have a couple beverages, grill, etc. It was close enough to town where we could make a quick 10-minute drive to grab any supplies we ran out of or forgot. The group we had didn’t have a single complaint and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend escape in nature, but is still close enough to some social activities such as restaurants, bars, or shops.

We have been renting this property for several years. Heather, our host, has always been friendly, reachable and accommodating. The home is lovely, very clean and well appointed. The deck is very large and very comfortable. The property is peaceful and private and includes lots of parking. We are 81 year old grandparents who rent this house to be together with family once a year. Things have changed for all of us as time has passed but we all manage to get there together at least a few days out of the week. The coming and going can be hectic but it's all worth the wonderful experience.

This home is spectacular! We found everything we needed and more than we possibly dreamed of. Heather is the sweetest hostess. The location is so beautifully surrounded by huge trees and has lots of parking. We enjoyed a multi-generational family vacation and everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely come back!!!

Great house for families. Quiet and secluded. Kitchen and bathrooms wonderful. 4 good sized bedrooms and loft. Queen mattresses were a little firm for our liking. Huge wraparound deck. The only issue was the mosquitoes. Very uncomfortable to eat outside during twilight hours. Overall great property

This property was perfect for my family! (Adults 26-60, Kids 2-10) the rooms were perfect and had lots of twin beds for all the kids too. The loft was perfect for the kids to run around and have fun. The big breakfast table with plenty of seats was so much fun having breakfast every morning with the family. And the two large patio tables fit everyone perfectly for dinner too! This property has a huge patio to get outside and relax on. Perfect place in my opinion, and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to have an amazing vacation at

Ten of us celebrated my husband's 70th birthday at this great vacation home. The pictures highlighting this property are true to life when you enter the home with the exception of the living room and kitchen area which is larger than the pictures show. Everyone enjoyed the ample space of the living area, bedrooms and patio. The property is very well cared for inside and out. Each bedroom is large, inviting, and with a comfortable bed. The 3 bathrooms easily accommodated our group. We shared a lot of laughs around the large dining table and outdoors on the wonderful wrap around patio. I highly recommend this property.

The process of renting this property was very smooth. When I contacted the owner with a question she was very accommodating. This house was perfect for our group of 4 small families. There was plenty of space and beds. The giant wrap around deck was a BIG hit, for the kids to play and the adults to just sit and relax. We had a fire every evening out back, which was a highlight for sure. Lots of little hikes around the property kept the kids entertained, as well as the little swing set. Will definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect cabin for us; we were thankful for the 3 levels, 3 bathrooms, cozy fireplace, BBQ, large wrap around deck, the private location with acres for the dogs to run around and convenient location near sledding hills, skating rink, and the cute town of Sonora It was nicely decorated for our family Christmas gathering as well. We were very happy with our experience. Thank you Heather for your quick responses to our questions.
