The hotel is well maintained, peaceful and surrounded by greenery, with a nice swimming pool and a small grass area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the balcony on the top-floor room was a great place to relax and unwind.
The location is a little isolated, with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. The family room also didn’t have AC in the hall, but considering the reasonable price and overall comfortable stay, these are minor compromises; food can also be conveniently ordered online.

Extremely nice property owner, always glad to help with any requests. The bedrooms were extremely nice and showers were good. Overall the place looks and feels beautiful (the nature definitely helps with that, including many garden flowers and some animals)

We travelled with our family and River Breeze Villa Bentota exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was well taken care of, and we had an exceptional stay — 10/10.
The staff were excellent, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The facilities, cleanliness, comfort, and overall value for money were all excellent. Our rooms were comfortable, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep.
The breakfast spread was another highlight. We tried both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the English breakfast, and both were excellent. There was a good variety, and everything we had was enjoyable.
The location was good and worked well for our family trip.
Overall, this was a wonderful family stay that exceeded our expectations. Excellent service, comfortable accommodation, great food, and very good value for money. We would happily stay at River Breeze Villa Bentota again and highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing stay.

The facilities were great (loved the pool and kitchen) and the hosts were friendly and very helpful. We were also referred to a really informative river safari tour by the host, which was a great end to our stay.
