Lovely quiet place with beautiful views

I would start by saying that it's a quiet and lovely place with a big garden of palm trees and olives from which you can go directly to the beach. You can drink your coffee in silence and enjoy the views. The location also provides sunbeds on the beach and a barbecue in the garden. Each room has a table outside where you can eat and also a small kitchenette is available in the room. The rooms are clean and the bathroom as well. The lady that does the cleaning comes daily and at 3 days your towels are changed. You have a shower outside in the garden for when you come back from the beach that's one minute away. It's perfect if you don't want to drive to another beach. Madame Katerina is a lovely person and even though we couldn't understand each other as we don't speak German or Greek, we had a nice interaction. She was always smiling at us and when we left she gave us a big hug. I would definitely come back as I couldn't get enough of that garden and the quiet coffee spot on the beach.

Our room was quite small and it was on a lower level, let's say semi-basement with no great view, but we had our table on the terrace and it was ok and nice "neighbors" as well aka other turists. Some more equipments in the kitchenette would be nice. When showering the water would go under the shower door on the bathroom floor, but that was not a really big problem. We appreciated the daily cleaning services, but we are those kind of people that leave later for the beach (around 10) and felt a bit pushed to leave early as the lady that does the cleaning was coming to see if we leave so she could start. That was not a big problem during all of the days, but on our last day we wanted to enjoy our last cup of coffee with that beautiful view as it was 10 am and the check out at 11 am, but she didn't seem so happy that she can't go and do the cleaning. That ruined a bit our experience, but still it's a lovely place that I would return and hope Katerina and her husband live a long life.

simply lovely & perfect for two

the view from the terrace (aka our outdoor living room) towards the garden and the beach. the facility is easily accessible using google maps as well. huge parking space for all guests. we noticed the bathroom was newly renovated. also that there was room service everyday, which i wasnt aware of. the best part was getting to know katerina herself. she is simply a lovely cheerful woman.

you definitely need all essentials to cook which weren't provided - chopping board, olive oil, pepper, salt, kitchen papers, sugar, etc... otherwise the kitchen is sufficient for simple meals.

Happiness in blue

Nice and clean rooms. The house is just beside the see. Shops, restaurants and boat-rentals are close.

The hosts speak only Greek and German.

Pleasant and chill Uniquely Greek.

The staff was very thoughtful. The people staying there were also cool and friendly. The beach in the back garden was a good option for days you dont want to go on the road looking for a beach. the room was spacious and clean. And meeting Katerina herself was very pleasant. All in all a relaxed and quiet place for couple or family vacations.

The only things that were left to be desired were the shower door- that left some water out, making a little flood in the bathroom. A small pool of water, not a big deal. But still. And the other thing was the bed. Although it was clean and spacious, it had 2 holes in the mattress on either sides of the bed, making it somewhat unpleasant to sleep.

Pleasant people with a beautiful home and backyard that’s like botanical garden.

Extremely beautiful garden and the house itself. Hosts are very nice and hospitable. Located right at the beach in a very peaceful part of the town.

Mosquitos were a bit of a problem.

Well kept house and yard, close to the beach

The location is good, right at the end of a somewhat secluded beach. Within 2 minutes walk there is a very good boat rental service. Each room has it's own terrace/balcony. There is private parking on premise that is covered, so the car doar not stay in the sun all day. The yard is well maintained. Lawn chairs are made available behind the location to be used kn the beach free of charge.

There are no facilities for children to play on premise (there is ample space in the yard to run on the other hand). If you don't know German/Russian you'll have a hard time communicating with the hosts (the languages they speak are clearly stated on the listing).

Good place - quiet and beautiful

Perfect location - meters from the sea, wonderful garden.

We booked two rooms with sea view. But unfortunately one of them had partly sea view and was significantly smaller than the other. It was OK, but I don't think that since both rooms are not equal we have to pay the same price for both of them.

A perfect place to escape too

Perfect location with a beautiful beach at the end of the garden. We really enjoyed cooking our evening meals in the outdoor kitchen. Our room was cleaned frequently. The bed was comfortable. Having a small kitchenette in the room was really useful. The lovely owners (Katerina & Georgios) keep their beautiful home immaculate & are extremely hospitable. We had the most relaxing 10 days here & would love to go back to visit again in the future.

It is impossible to find something to dislike about this property. The only thing I can think to say is initially we were a bit disappointed with the room as I thought we had booked a room that had a sofa (as shown from the photos online). But we quickly overcame our disappointment once we explored the rest of Haus Katerina.
