They have a whole variety of tea, cofee, sweets, nuts, mezcal and medicine that you can take for free. A really nice ambient and super calm. I liked the terrace as well.
If you could leave your lugagge in the storage room after 8pm it would be 10/10. I had my night bus at midnight and had to pick everything up 4 hours before my bus.

We had a great stay at Hostel Mixteco. The host, George, was very kind and helpful throughout our visit.
It’s a basic hostel, but definitely good value for money. The rooms are simple, yet comfortable.
There’s no shared kitchen, but there is a common area where you can grab tea or coffee, along with a refrigerator and a microwave.
Most attractions in the city center are just a 10–15 minute walk from the hostel.

Location is great. Staff are friendly - though with limited availability.
Facilities are old. Shared bathrooms aren't very comfortable - without space to place items/bathmats. The building is mostly outdoors and when it rains the floors get wet, including the path to the shared bathroom. Noise travels throughout the building - can hear the phone at the front desk from other stories.
