No está mal pero no repetiríamos

El alojamiento en sí no está mal... Es de lo más económico de Railey pero resulta bastante caro en comparación con otras zonas que hemos estado. El bungalow está bien, éramos 3 personas y nos pusieron una cama supletoria en el suelo pero bueno, fue cómodo porque era grandecillo y había suficiente espacio para dejar las cosas. Tiene terraza y el baño era muy bonito. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien, el agua caliente también y el Wifi gratis también. Te suben las maletas cuando llegas y te dejan guardarlas allí el día de irte. Nosotros desayunamos allí pagándolo aparte y no estuvo mal la calidad-precio y las vistas que son bonitas.

La ubicación es horrible pero si quieres alojarte en Railey en algo "barato", no hay otra opción. La "playa" no es ni playa... Cuando la marea está baja es un barrizal y cuando está alta no hay dónde ponerse (porque no hay arena) y el agua está turbia y como sucia... Si quieres disfrutar de la playa tienes que irte a otras de Railey. La piscina ni la probamos porque más bien parece una charca, y no nos gustó mucho lo de pagar en efectivo (aunque eso ya venía avisado en la reserva).

Little gem of a place

What a unique little place. A little gem. Like a courtyard of bunaglow huts. A little different. All windows are tinted for privacy and to keep the room cool which is great. Staff very helpful.

A real gem

Awesome staff! Super attentive and friendly. The setup is nice, rising above the street to give a treehouse sort of vibe. Room was clean & comfy. Definitely recommend!

Sehr schönes Hotel für einen guten Preis

Die Bungalows waren sehr sauber und komfortabel mit einer eigenen überdachten Terrasse. Die Klimaanlage war sehr leise und nicht aufdringlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Regenwetter, aber dafür kann keiner was🤣 Die Betten waren etwas hart leider

Beautiful, tranquil place to stay in Railay

Lovely nature based property. You could hear all kinds of animals and it was very tranquil. The superior bungalow was absolutely perfect. We did also enjoy the basic bungalow too but there was a few mosquitos present (mosquito net provided however) Restaurant on-site was delicious 😊 The staff were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay again!

As per other properties in Railay, there were stairs to get to the property. Now, we knew this in advance and Rapala actually had less steps than other properties close by. Just prepare yourself for this and use the luggage lift to make it easier

Huisjes op de heuvel

Aardig personeel en fijne locatie. Een goed ontbijt voor een schappelijke prijs. Net buiten de drukke straat en relatief stil (op een feestje in de vond verderop na).

De haan in de verte was duidelijk aanwezig in de ochtend 😝

Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 nights and very steep steps up (not too many so fine if you’re capable of this)

Pool was nice and clean, very refreshing!! AC was very good , good location ( for the other side) but only short walk to main Railey anyway!! We got a welcome drink :)

The bathroom was always smelly so the room smelt and ants everywhere so felt a bit gross. You could hear everything outside at all times so every morning we were woke up early. If you check out before 8am remember to go to reception the night before to get your key deposit back

Nice place atop the trees to watch monkeys

The staff or owners were so kind and lovely. I loved the hilltop hotel where I can sit and have my meals or read a book and see the monekys also eating and running around. I'm so glad they have a luggage lift to carry your bag up, just press a button and they will lower the lift. Unfortunately, this place won't work for you if you're not able bodied to walk up the stairs.

Hotel bien de precio-calidad, recomendado!

La amabilidad del personal, la comida en el restaurante es muy buena y las vistas son preciosas.

Para llegar hasta el hotel hay que subir unas escaleras bastante altas que se puede hacer pero es difícil con mochila o equipaje, por lo demás todo muy bien.

Das Resort ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr so sauber. Die Lage ist (Vorsicht Treppen!) an sich schön, man

Vom Hotel aus kann man das Meer sehen, die Hütten sind an sich süß gemacht.

Leider ist es nicht sehr sauber gewesen und die Ausstattung runter gekommen. Die Betten waren nicht bezogen, sodass wir lieber unseren eigenen Schlafsack nahmen. Im Badezimmer haben wir lieber nicht so genau hingeschaut..

A nice place in remote area

Our bungalow was comfortable with an air con, hot water and a comfortable bed. All necessary stuff was in our bungalow. It's approximately in 15 minutes from Phra Nang Beach and Railay beach. The food in restaurant is delicious and the prices are reasonable. We always ate at the hotel restaurant.

Preis Leistung ist top! Gute Bungalows zu einem guten Preis. Alles sauber, Betten an sich bequem (wie alle in Thailand Tendenz zu hart), gute Ausstattung, ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Es gibt einen „Aufzug“ für das Gepäck 👌

Es ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber sie arbeiten fleißig an neuen Bungalows und renovieren. Ich denke es wird bald in neuem Glanz erstrahlen. 😊 Den Pool / Planschbecken habe ich nicht verstanden, kann man dann auch ganz sein lassen 😂

The room was okay - 4 walls and a bed - did the job.

The bedding is a strange material that feels sticky and wet, really bad shower pressure, loud air con, en-suite roof really accentuates the sound of rain, loud roosters to wake you up super early in the morning. Be careful: the restaurant menu uses pictures from google images - not just different looking food but some were not even the same item that’s on the menu - when questioned about what we received they only said “that’s all we have”. We did suggest to not falsely advertise their food so maybe they will change their menu, but doubtful. 👍

The common area with view was really nice. The other bungalows toward the front looked really nice. If you get those ones you'll probably be happy.

I got the budget room with shared bath. The room itself was fine but was located at the back of the property past a burned out apocalyptic looking area of old destroyed bungalows. It was cheap I guess.

We stayed here for climbing in the double rooms with shared bathrooms. Great value for money if you want to sleep cheap. Simple and comfortable. Super friendly staff. Cute dogs and lovely communal balcony area. Stayed here for over a month and would most definitely stay here again if we came back

This place feels like a small tree top village. Beautiful atmosphere, comfy rooms and breezy decks to relax on and enjoy the view. Staff so helpful and friendly. Great communication with amending our booking when bad weather lead to ferry cancellation on the day we were supposed to arrive!

Pleasant

The location was great, good value for money and the views from the decks and pool and rooms was stunning. The two dogs at reception were so cute.

The room did have lots of cracks so that bugs and mosquitoes got in, but thankfully a mosquito net was provided. It is also located up in the cliffside so expect birds, chickens etc roaming around the accommodation also.

Don’t stay in room C1

I stayed in a room all the way in the back , room C1, the mattress was dump, the sheets and even towels were dump and sticky, did not sleep all night, super hot, fan did not help much, ants everywhere, will not stay here again

Best place in Railey!

Best spot in Railey! We stay here everytime we come to Railey. The food is excellent, nice pool for cooling off, comfortable rooms, many spots to relax with a beautiful view. Such an amazing value for the price you pay.

Superb

Perfect location on railey beach with comfy beds and quite rooms. Nice restaurant / Chillout areas with views over the mountains and the sea. I liked the natural, wooden style. Overall very simple accommodation but worth the affordable price with helpful staff around.

Very good

Fantastic place with great service and good value for money. The shared bathrooms were fine (few bugs here and there but overall good). Clean, small pool with amazing view of bay.

We took the cheap option (fan room, not bungalow) and had an awful experience with a bug infestation on the second night. However, the staff were fantastic and moved us to another room immediately and provided a coupon for free breakfast to compensate.
