Good value on the outskirts of Ghent

Friendly staff, nice bar and restaurant

Twin room was tiny - there was absolutely no separation between the beds. Also I received over 30 emails asking me to check in, using a broken link and the emails have continued to spam my inbox after the reservation has been completed

Ik vond het leuk dat ze aan heel veel dingen gedacht hebben, van snacks, tot kleine dingetjes die je zou kunnen vergeten hebben, entertainment zoals fitness, kickertafel, heel leuk ook hun eigen pizza restaurantje... t is een leuk hotel

Ik heb eigenlijk geen klachten, misschien zou een kleine frigo wel handig zijn

Ein wirklich gutes Ibis Hotel. Sauber in allen Ecken, einfach in der Ausstattung, jedoch alles chick modern. Das Hotel glänzt vor allem durch sein äußerst freundliches, professionelles Personal. Es herrscht eine ruhige, gelöste Stimmung im gesamten Foyer, wo wir unseren Abend nach dem tollen Tag in Gent und dem Lichtfestival ausklingen lassen haben.

We komen terug.

Alles, vriendelijke medewerkers, fin. onthaal, veel faciliteiten, dicht aan het station en het centrum. Zeer proper.

Er waren te weinig halen om haken iets omhoog te hangen, geen kast. Zelfs niet in de badkamer, ook geen tablet om gerief op te zetten aan de lavabo.

Trendy hotel with cleverly designed rooms. Great space in the lobby for chilling with games facilities, food and drinks. Parking available underneath hotel. Great value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful.

New facilities and friendly helpful staff. . really appreciated having the car park attached and the restaurant and bar. Great family room and comfortable beds. Easy 15-20 min walk to city centre. Thanks for a great stay.

Our shower didn't drain well so it came close to flooding to main bedroom floor.

The bathroom was spacious. The room was clean. The bar was ok.

The towels weren't clean. The bed wasn't comfortable whether the double bed or the sofa bed in the triple room. The restaurant food wasn't nice. No minibar inside the room. The location of the hotel was a bit far from the centrum.

Enjoyable and convenient stay with shops nearby.

Lovely and clean rooms and the hotel itself. The use of gym was a bonus. We did not eat our breakfast there but it looked delicious, so did the dinners!

The rooms could be a little bigger for three people.

We enjoyed our stay though it was a bit away from the centre of Ghent but it was interesting being near old Damport.

Insecure

We were driving back from west of Belgium to Germany, we felt tired and we decided to book a room at this hotel to rest during the night; however, we found ourselves facing a couple of unfortunate issues that significantly affected our experience. Firstly, upon our arrival, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. This led to an incredibly embarrassing situation for us and the occupants of the room. While the hotel staff assigned us a different room after realizing their mistake, the incident raised serious concerns about the hotel's room assignment and key distribution process. Secondly, we were surprised to find that the rooms did not have secure locks. This lack of basic security feature made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe during our stay. We believe that the security of guests should be a top priority for any hotel, and were disappointed to find this not to be the case here. Finally there was only 1 towel in a triple room and stained bed sheet. We were very tired and there was no way too call the service. In conclusion,, the issues we faced with room assignment and security significantly marred our experience. We hope the hotel management takes our concerns seriously and works to improve these aspects of their service. For potential visitors, we recommend double-checking your room assignment and security arrangements to avoid any inconvenience.
