Everything was good.
Nothing much.

Good location, helpful staff, the room was a good size and we had a nice view!
The room did smell a bit of damp / a bit musty - this could have been due to the carpets and curtains? Parts of the bathroom could also be updated. There didn’t appear to be an extractor fan in the bathroom, which meant a lot of steam / heat built up after showering and when using the hairdryer.

The location isn’t bad once you find your bearings, and one of the positives is that the hotel offers a free shuttle service to a few key places, which is quite convenient.
Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing and did not feel anywhere near what I would expect from a four-star hotel.
The rooms were small and cramped, with a musky, unclean feel. One of the bathrooms had a layer of mould around the sink, which was clearly not being cleaned properly. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this was particularly disappointing.
The beds were also extremely uncomfortable and left me with back pain, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was average and didn’t do much to improve the overall experience.
Overall, the hotel fell well short of the four-star standard we expected, particularly in terms of cleanliness, room comfort and maintenance.
