The Victorian ambiance of the Club is phantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Rooms at the backside are very quiet despite the Club is located in the busy city center.
The full english breakfast is good. Excellent laundry service. Private parking available.
Sometimes Wifi is quite slowly and the pressure of the water at the shower poor.

There is no aircon, the water was cold, towel with dirty spots

It is like staying in a museum but with better facilities. Rooms are spacious and lovely. Food is a bit old fashioned but good. Bar is well stocked.
For some a dicy lift so that you have to walk up 2 flights of (lovely)stair might be a bit much.

Location and friendliness of staff
Lighting in the foyer should be improved - get Led lights

Location excellent
Style and history of the place is unique - this is surely the big selling point
Staff delightful and always friendly and helpful
Breakfast is always a 'full English' with no options and nothing healthy at all - coffee and tea good but surely omelette/porridge and fruit could be available as options at least?
WiFi is very patchy - may be an issue for anyone here for work (which many seemed to be including me)

There's a lot of history here, and the hotel feels extremely atmospheric. The public areas have been well-maintained, albeit some things have run done, e.g. the elevator was not working, and the corridors on the upper level could use some refinishing. The staff also felt pretty minimal, but those who were there were friendly and helpful. The location is great, and we felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. We ate both breakfast and dinner here and the food was fine.
Carrying our suitcases up all those stairs. (I counted more than 60). Getting into the parking area is a bit of a challenge, but at least there is parking.

One gets a real feel for the period of the late 19th century when the club was opened. You are surrounded by memorabilia of that time giving a real feel of how the Club was in those times

Spotlessly clean.Super secure central but quiet location. Staff cheerful and extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast..they even provided a packed meal for a very early morning departure. A living museum with superbly refurbished rooms that haven't lost their character. Value for money.
Faultless.

This place is a piece of working history. It's charming, interesting, has the best staff and lots of quirky touches. The beds and linens were excellent, a lovely courtyard eating area and very secure parking accessed via a gated lane. It is very central and we were able to walk around Bulawayo. The food was excellent, the bar costs very reasonable , all in all a 10 out of 10 and I would stay here again if back in Bulawayo.
Shower pressure/temp was a little feeble but very forgivable.

Very good hotel, everything is satisfing including helpful staff, clean beds, bathroom, but it has a long history, so the wood floor exudes uncomforble smell. And need renovating, The location is in the Center of city,
Old wood floor & location, inside hotel it's quiet & safe, but outside too many vendors.

The place is a amazing lots of heritage in the building and the halls .. dining room and foyers
the staff go out of there way to assist you and make you feel welcome.
the only downfall to this place is the location , RIGHT NEXT TO A TAXI RANK, the noise never stops.
they shout from 5am till midnight ... calling passengers to them.
the big truck with the air brakes is the ones that catch you at 2 am .

The Buluawayo Club is a real gem. It’s perfectly preserved and was like stepping back in time - a brilliant place. Breakfast, other meals and staff were all excellent.
I’d change nothing.

This is certainly an unusual place to stay. The location is central, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and breakfast was fine.
The Club is certainly a step back in time. But also perhaps the ghost of what it was. The rooms are on the second floor, with dining and meeting rooms on the first floor. I ate in the hotel in the first night and had to wander around the whole of the first floor looking for someone. Eventually walked into the kitchens any called out to find someone to give me a meal. Being the only guest in a large dining room runs counter to the idea of the ‘Club’.

The staff was very polite and respectful.
Especially the reception staff was so much welcome even during low shedding they notified me.
English breakfast was a bit too much not everyone eat pork. Cause that was their main dish bacon and pork sausages.
Their breakfast must carter for everyone especially that I paid for it in advance. They must ask their visitors what they prefer for breakfast please.

As many have said before, It really is like staying in a Musuem.
Excellent Staff.
Great location in Centre of Town.
Menu limited but decent sized portions and nice food.
Would stay again next time I'm in Bulawayo
Only real downside is the Dress Code policy for the Bar area Downstairs.
Even when empty it was enforced, Meaning several people had to eat in the Atrium outside the Bar.
This policy really should be made clear at the Booking Stage.
Can't imagine such a policy is sustainable in the long term???
