There were clear instructions about how to enter the property (as I arrived after the staff had left) Everything worked well in the room and there was no issue with any traffic noise. The air-con worked well and the Wifi had a strong signal. Plenty of hot water in the shower room. There was a small fridge as well as a kettle and a couple of glasses and mugs. I found the location to be OK as there were a couple of cafes very local to grab breakfast and in the evening I normally used a restaurant/bar just over the bridge to get a meal and a few beers. There are good transport links.
Just one minor point! The bed was 2 singles pushed together with a double mattress topper on top. Unfortunately during the night the 2 beds and their individual mattresses tended to drift apart leaving a hollow that the mattress topper sank into. I then sank into the hollow! In the end I found it simpler to sleep at either 45 or 90 degrees to the bed.

The man who checked us in (owner?) was delightful and personable. He had good recommendations for things for us to see and do in Sofia. The courtyard area offers lots of seating for some fresh air. Our room had what we needed for the one night we were there and the location is convenient to the train that runs directly to the airport (800 meter walk, then 25 minutes on the train), which was a major factor for us in choosing this place.
The bathroom situation, even knowing that we were walking into one that does not have a shower separated from the toilet and sink, was surprisingly small with a soggy (flooded once too many times) floor just outside. It was hard to feel clean after that experience. The outlets were not placed at places convenient for charging, which is a small thing until you both want to have full charge on your phones the night before a long day of travel.

I like the location
The bathroom was smelling pretty bad. Sound isolation was horrible. There was constant noise of cars coming from the street, was very hard to sleep.
