Ok but extremely noisy particularly traffic noise.

Location was good. The apartment has a washing machine and dryer.

Traffic noise was extremely bad it woke me each morning around 5am. (I did have earplugs) It has an extra deep bath you had to climb into to use the shower. Living space is small. There’s a few cabinets (one large) with bolts and chains on them so they looked untidy and made us wonder why they weren’t put in storage as they took up space. We were on the ground floor at the front of the building. Because of the noise I wouldn’t stay again.

Overall, the apartment was a great base to travel around Cairns and the region.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and a good sized fridge stocked with water and starter milk was appreciated, as were the tea and coffee supplies. The main bedroom mattress was very comfortable. Great bathroom with laundry was a bonus, although we didn't stay long enough to need it. The swimming pool was fantastic and loved that it was so close! George was so helpful, and responded quickly to any concerns or questions, even to suggesting places to visit/see.

An information folder would be a helpful touch. The 2nd bedroom walls were dusty. The noise from the above apartment made it difficult to sleep at times and as the main room faces the intersection, at times the traffic noise or headlight reflection made it difficult to sleep (but I'm a light sleeper).

A wonderful place to stay if you don't mind being a little out of the city

George was fantastic. He explained everything very thoroughly and was a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend staying with Casa Borghese. The vibe of the apartment was fantastic and in great condition. The amenity is 2nd to none. The is a fantastic cafe for breakfast close by and a wonderful hotel to have a meal out of an evening aboout 300m up the road.

The only downside is that the property is located about 2.5 km from the center of the city. We didn't have a car so we walked everywhere while we were in Cairns. Therefore we put plenty of kms into our legs. Other than that the property was superb

Perfect little getaway

Lovely little flat. Everything we needed was there, even a washing machine + dryer which was very handy. It's located close to the airport and about 30 mins walk to Cairns city centre. All in all perfect for a short holiday to explore the Reef and Rainforests.

Amazing!

It had everything we needed and more. We're seasoned travellers and choose our holiday accommodation carefully. Casa Borghese is the best accommodation we've had by far. Our host way responsive and helpful. The apartment was extremely well equipped, from teas and coffee to a safe box in the main bed. The kids loved the pool and the aircon in their room.

2 nights enjoyable stay with good memory

The room is very nicely decorated and not boring. Fully aircon and with fans. Large room with enough space for my family. The location is very good as it is near the city and walking distance to the esplanade. Jackie has also put a lot of thoughts in setting up the apartment and also provide books and board games for you to enjoy.

Some part in the bathroom has mould. Something provide in the pantry has expired. The internet is slow.

Perfect little home away from home. Well decked out and great access to a beautiful pool.

Everything was fantastic! it was a lovely little home away from home and we loved how close the pool was and that we had the little outdoor balcony-style (though ground floor) area where we could watch our big kids who wanted to go for a swim before we were ready. It was a lovely shaded pool and pool area too. Thanks Jackie :)

Was managed outside of "normal" property structure. So picking up key slightly more complicated. With good comms worked fine.

We recommend Jackie’s holiday apartment.

We loved that we had the convenience of a pool right at the doorstep and that there were games and books available for the raining times. Everything was comfortable and Jackie was a kind host.

Highly recommended spacious and cosy apartment with a great host. Felt like home.

We stayed in the apartment for 6 nights and what was there not to love. The apartment is spacious, more than fully equipped, has good beds but most important, it felt like homecoming. We had a very busy excursion program in Cairns but were able to rest and relax when we were back in the apartment. The dishwasher and washing machine (including washing powder!) were also very handy. Moreover, host Jackie, is very friendly and always available to help out or answer questions. During our trip through Australia, we stayed in 9 different accommodations, but this one has been by far the best.

Good size, lots of home comforts, good pool area and access to amenities. Jackie is very friendly and helpful. Also not right in the centre of the Carins CBD which I would perfer. Convenience to the airport.

Road noise in front bedroom however as the night goes on this reduces.

Loved Jackies apartment, spacious, comfortable with everything you need! Lovely little extra touches and Jackie let us check in early. Wish we had stayed longer and will be back again. The traffic noise isnt really an issue!

Very good

We very much enjoyed our stay at Jackie's apartment. It was very comfortable, clean, colourful and well appointed. It has a nice outlook, overlooking the pool. We'll located for walking to town via the foreshore trail.

The highway frontage was the only downside.
