Good location, good parking, room was spacious and had everything we needed. Only slight negative was having to cart our luggage up two flights of stairs.

This was an apartment with a lot of facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, two large flat-screen smart TVs, and a very useful washing machine plus clothes rack. It was close enough to most of the attractions in Cairns to walk everywhere. There was a secure carpark too for the one day that we needed it after picking up our rental car. From the small balcony, we had our first good view of North Queensland birds like the Australian Figbird, Rainbow Lorikeets as well as the iconic Bush Stone Curlew.
Unfortunately the property does need a little more TLC, as the shower door was slightly broken, and the dishwasher ceased to work after just one use. There was no elevator so we also had to carry our luggage up and down two flights of stairs. The pool area, although attractive, was right next to a rather busy road, so we did not bother using it.

The location worked good for us and was an easy walk to where ever we needed to be.
We found the lighting in the apartment wasn't so good.

Location is ideal, close to the main centre of Cairns and is walking distance to the aquarium.
The promotional photos on Booking.com do not represent the overall state of the place. There was obvious rising dampness in some areas and we even had peeling paint in many spots of the apartment. Consequently there was strange smell permeating through the place. Our floor rug was visibly stained and the pillows horrible. Even the pool was uninviting; looked like water had not been topped up or treated for months and the foliage around was overgrown.
