On arrival, Thomas was exceptional in assisting us. Beautiful design features throughout the hotel. The convenience of carpark right next door (validated parking was only $35 a day) and Capitol Theatre on the other side, right in the heart of city. Although we didn't use the dining area, reception were helpful when we got a late-night takeaway and gave us some forks. Reception can call you a taxi and give you a QR code tracker. Only takes a few minutes.
My brother's room was fully wheelchair accessible, which it was, but the poorly placed bed made getting into the bathroom a tighter turn than it could have been. Absolutley possible and not enough to ask the staff to do anything about it when I realised. The accessible room itself had plenty of room for him, it was just the position of the bed could have been better. Had the bed been set up to twin beds instead of king then it might not have been a problem, but he prefers the king bed. I'd absolutely book again but would just mention this on booking to see if it could be better positioned.
Our room was very small, but functional and comfortable.
The only real disappointment was waiting so long for a cocktail in the lounge, and we were the only people in the whole bar area, so we gave up and cancelled the order.
Would have been great to have a late night menu available for after the show at Capitol Theatre.

Location, staff, foyer & bar were good. View was wonderful day & night over Darling Harbour.
To see the view, because of the room design you had to stand up to really see it, and the window was very dirty.
The shower leaked so much that the mat and bathroom floor were soaked.
The whole room desperately needs a make over-expanded timber along bottom edge of back board/bathroom is old and grotty (not cleaner's fault).
