My satnav let me down and directed me to the wrong location, however the lady on reception (I think an owner) went out of her way to help me find the hotel. She understood the stress all this caused and graciously gave my wife and I an upgrade on our room.
Our room had a separate toilet and shower/bathroom. The toilet was a bit cramped.

Very friendly, helpful staff, especially when we arrived. Easy access from the motorway. Very dog friendly, paid a small supplement, but was expected. Dogs welcome in the restaurant. Good evening meal, and breakfast.
Plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Lovely and warm.
Very small room, but expected, as we read the reviews. A bit tight though with our dogs.
Although our evening meal was very enjoyable, the service was a bit slow to get going, but the staff were very friendly.

Good for one night passing by.
Forced to pay breakfast even tough I didn't take it (and was not opted for when booking). Paid extra for the pet with no bowls for food and water, neither a bed, available (all other hotels offer that for the same or less cost).
