Had problem on Arrival with rental car. Allowed to use the Hotel Facilities while waiting on Repair. Staff were amazing including speaking to the Tow Company and arranging transport to pick up the vehicle

Nice overall property, pool is cool, rooms are old, A/C is old and barely works in such a high summer season. Breakfast is basic.
Check-in you feel you are just another guest, maybe I just had such good experiences in other hotels in Italy, I was expecting the same.

Beautiful hotel, quite remote. The spa was unavailable the day we stayed

breakfast was good and it was nice to include it.
hotel was clean and pretty on the outside but a bit outdated on the inside. luckily our flat was clean and new and 2 of the members of staff was very nice and helpful.
flat was far from station and 500m from the hotel. this was a flat and not inside of hotel but its location was a bit far. they didn’t charge for rides to the hotel but unfortunately they charged from hotel to station at 20 euros a day outbound/return. we know that the taxi was circa double what it was meant to be according to the locals but given it was such a small town we felt pressured to use their transfer service as they didn’t offer an alternative. in two occasions we had to wait over 20 minutes and they kept saying 5 minutes more. also we were concerned as on one morning the car driver forgot to put the handbrakes on outside the station so when he exited the car, it nearly crashed into the side of another car. Next morning he didn’t offer to help with suitcases up the steps to hotel and down steps to taxi; he should’ve offered to help.
we never managed to use the swimming pool throughout the entire stay as we didn’t feel comfortable using it given they had constantly wedding preparations/celebrations going on so it didn’t feel welcomed. E.g. they were getting tables out next to it and a few men looking stressed / busy prepping for the wedding and pool was only available each day until 1pm which was news to us.
we have checked online and it clearly does not mention that it’s only available until this time nor does it mention the cost of spa. it felt like their focus was on weddings and therefore we were secondary.
first morning there was no hot water so couldn’t shower but no cost deductions were made, which was disappointing.
First night we had dinner but in the adjacent room there was a loud party going on and lots of kids running into our room and the atmosphere was not good.
