The hotel is in an excellent position by the quay, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Downstairs was a pub with food. Paid parking is available nearby (it is hard to find any free parking in Ilfracombe, although some is available if you have a blue badge).
The room was rather dark as some of the lights did not work. We did not report this simply because we were up and out very early each morning, but felt that had we done so, it would have been dealt with as the staff were super helpful.

Loved the old building. Ideally placed in the town it’s old and wonky and a pub!!
I couldn’t hook my switch up to tv for the kids because it was mounted high on the wall.

Location was excellent
I know It’s an old building but it was quite grubby. Towels changed but no bed made. No lift and very steep steps
