The room was very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. All the guest areas were well presented with some lovely and interesting features. Our hosts, Piper and Terance, were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect, especially the marmite and cheese. Highly recommended.

Lovely B and B, you can tell they really care about the place. It's a deceptively huge house, and lots of little surprises like the reading room, the bar and the mini cinema. Its nice to have to well thought out cosy places to spend time outside your room. Terence and Piper were very friendly and helpful, and dealt with my wet surf gear and dried it for me which was great.
I had the smallest room they have, but it was perfect for what I needed. Everything felt cared for and clean, and the breakfast was great too
Would definitely stay again
Nothing! The bed frame was a little creaky, but nothing that can't be fixed quickly!

What a place! Every nook and cranny is spotlessly clean and so well thought about. I have never stayed in such a beautifully curated and loved space. Cannot recommend enough... whether you are looking for comfort, style or quirky... The Devonian has it all.

I liked everything. This place and the guys who run it (Terence and Piper) are exceptional. I didn’t have time to use all the facilities (gym, cinema), but I am sure they are as good as the rest. 10/10. The breakfast and the choices were also exceptional.
