We loved the hospitality and warm greeting that Philippe provided. His estate is really a good value for money and you will for sure appreciate the decoration and his art works too. The room was pretty spacious for 3 and the garden of the property is lovely. We will definitely consider it again whenever we passing by Valenciennes.

Lovely decor , full of character. House and host were very quirky, in a good way! Room and bathroom were tastefully decorated and bedding was highest quality, which made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. High quality breakfast
and lovely homemade preserves. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave lots of good advice on places to visit and restaurants.

It was right beside the tram, the building was very nice. Secure parking.
The host wasn't as friendly as previous reviews seemed to indicate. He was polite, but encounters felt a bit awkward. Like I was a guest in his house sort of and was conscious of his presence. There was no bath, which was annoying as my booking specifically said there was a bath. I searched properties which offered a bath..
