Nothing to do with the hotel
Following google maps was our mistake. It led us up a super narrow lane to a dead end. Fortunately a local showed us how to get there. Do not go up the laneway next to a car park

The cave room was really cool and spacious.
Water pressure was good.
Showers hot and clean.
The pool was a good size with relaxed timings (I turned up a little late when it was due to close but there was no issues with me using it a little late).
Nice selection of fresh fruit and cold bits for breakfast.
Sounds minor but a door mat would have been good as the entrance was through a grassy path which in the cooler evening became wet and a little slippery.
Another point would be the nearest restaurant (from what we found) was a good 5 minute walk down a steep hill which isn't great if you have mobility issues. (There might have been a closer one but thats all we could find).

Great view from the room.
For the overseas guests travelling with us, there was insufficient lighting in their room even to read a book & a bath/shower with insufficient headroom to be able to stand up to get in & out of it.
Our breakfast table was near to where the coffees were made & for our first breakfast, suffered the wrath of the staff member who banged everything she touched. When we asked if the tap was drinkable (as no bottled water was provided in the rooms) she told us it was but that she wouldn't drink it. At this point, she did get us with a couple of small bottles of mineral water. We were really surprised that when we went to pay the bill, the mineral water that she provided was charged for. Fortunately the second day we had a staff member who was very kind.
Great that parking was available at the hotel but unfortunately, the space for maneuvering was very tight.
