We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
The host was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic: near to the historical city center (Fatih), making it very convenient for exploring the area.
The facilities were also great for this price (fridge, kettle etc.) - not very luxury, but the price is very reasonable.
Another big plus is that an airport transfer can be arranged.
Overall, a lovely place with a great location, excellent hospitality, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay here again!
The only very minor drawback is that there is no lift, so the higher floors are accessible only by stairs (but obviously, this cannot be fixed).

The room matched the description, had everything we need for a comfortable stay, was clean and cozy, plus location was great - just about ten minutes walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Many places to eat in the area and very close to the shore. However, the best part about the Bereket hotel is the wonderful host: Ali has reached out to us before our arrival, met and helped us upon arrival and was in touch throughout our visit. Thank you, Ali - we really enjoyed our stay with you!

The room was ok, it had everything we needed: good Wi-Fi, air conditioning, freezer and it was clean.
We stayed in a basement room, and it was surprisingly quiet. We could sleep peacefully every morning, even until noon, without being disturbed.
It wasn't a luxury room, but it was comfortable and perfect for our stay.
The location was excellent. It was within walking distance of almost all the main attractions in Sultanahmet, and it was also very close to public transportation, making it easy to explore other parts of Istanbul.
There were plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops just a few steps away, so finding food, coffee, or anything we needed was never a problem.
The host was exceptional. Every day he asked if everything was okay, if we needed anything, if we wanted the room cleaned, or if there was any way he could help us. He was always kind, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable.
The only thing I didn't like was that many of the streets in the area are quite steep, but of course, that has nothing to do with the hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if I return to Istanbul, I would be happy to stay here again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and major tourist attractions.
What truly made this stay unforgettable was the hotel owner. He is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and most generous people I have ever met. From the moment I arrived, he treated me like family, always making sure I had everything I needed. He was incredibly helpful, respectful, and genuinely cared about making my visit to Istanbul enjoyable. His hospitality is truly exceptional and deserves the highest praise.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. If I return to the city, I will definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality and for making my trip so memorable!
