Piszę to z przykrością bo lokalizacja i koncept świetny. Ale brak czystości w domkach jak i na basenie nie do przyjęcia…

Schlimm.

Wie schon mehrere schreiben: Nicht das gebuchte Chalet bekommen. Dafür schlechtere Kategorie. Das Chalet war dann leider abgewohnt und schmutzig. Nahrungsmittel vom Vorgänger schimmelten im Schrank. Dreck wurde trotz Nachfrage nicht beseitigt. Schwarzer Schimmel in der Dusche.

Das Personal war sehr bemüht, das Chalet war aber für diesen Preis nicht einwandfrei.

Die Lage war sehr schön und es war auch sauber.

Die Duschkabine kann man nicht zuschieben, das Licht in der Dusche war aus, nur ganz wenig Licht beim Spiegel. Dunstabzug sehr schlecht beleuchtet, wenig Licht zum kochen am abend.

Excellent for families, my kids really enjoy the swimming pool ..

Location and facilities are great..

The accommodation was not clean properly, there was plenty of dust under the bed and fungus in the shower

Everything was good except they should provide to each house at least 2 deck chairs, so guests can rest and relax in the garden.

Overall, a great experience!

First of all, I would like to point out that this is a great choice of location for visiting both Hallstatt and the Obertraun surrounding area (hiking, biking, visiting the nearby lakes, the 5 fingers platforms and caves). It’s very close to the train station, the lake, the shuttle boat to Hallstatt and easily accessible by car, train or bus. The chalet was is fairly good condition, the kitchen was very well equipped, the outdoor area was perfect for enjoying a wonderful coffee in the morning and an afternoon tea or drink of choice. Maybe we were lucky but we also had great neighbours so it was quiet and very enjoyable. The common spaces are large, lots of lounge furniture, nice lighting and great views. Overall, a great space for groups. The great perks of the resort are the restaurant (great food, nice view, very nice and accommodating staff and very decent prices) and the reception shop (it had a small choice of everything you need for a short holiday and the prices may seem high at first but trust me, they are even higher in other shops or Hallstatt). The check-in and check-out process are fast and the staff was very helpful. You can get a barbecue from the reception and if you come by car, make sure to bring lots of drinks and food from a cheap supermarket because you really have all the facilities to either drink or cook them. The indoor sauna was a very nice touch.

I didn’t enjoy the spider webs around some of the windows and on the balcony as I am terrified of these creatures. A few tiles were broken, the wall paint was damaged in some areas and the shower doors were in poor shape but nothing dramatic. The only things that actually bothered me more were the mattresses and the pillows (hard mattresses, small lumpy pillows). The soundproofing was almost non existent but luckily we woke up and mostly went to bed all at the same time so it didn’t affect us much. It would have been nice to have at least one hair dryer per chalet (if there was one we couldn’t find it anywhere) and I would have liked to have real drawers, not fake ones, for the furniture upstairs.

Very nice Resort with bus stop right in front. There is a restaurant nearby. Great for family and group of friends. About 10 minutes bus ride to Hallstatt town

The best place to be near Hallstatt. Resort provides everything you might need: breakfast, shopping, restaurant, kayak and bike rental, gym, swimming pool, sauna, specious parking, bbq places including renting.

Scouting Trip in Obertraun

This is our second stay at Dormio Resort Obertraun. We love that the resort is located within walking distance to recreational activities such as biking, hiking and kayaking. We also like that we can enjoy the Hallstatt area without being caught in the busyness of the tourists groups. The chalets are fully equipped with the furniture and home goods to create a home away from home.

Would have appreciated additional pillows for a more comfortable sleep, only one per bed provided. Would also like the option to request room arrangement when booking (separate beds).

Gererally place would be perfect but for this money I would like to have better inner conditions.

Nice location, nature around.

Was dusty, we found pieces of a broken Glas, what was very dangerous because we had 4 kids, including 2 babies. Also apartment needs renovation, shower doors are not working good. microwave doesn’t indicate any signs what makes cooking process bit complicated. Pool area is also not clean and many ants running around. Prices in a lobby and village shops are crazy. Coming with everything bought on a way doesn’t seem so realistic, but buying on a place is crazily expensive.

This is my secind stay at Dormio resort Obertraun and we came again for the peace and quiet and nature...the cabin is well equipped, soundproof and spacious and very warm.

Thee cabin was not very clean, there was dust in the corners and around the ceiling lamps and windows were not clean.The reception and the small shop within the reception are open only until 6 pm.
