The staff is super friendly and helpful, the accommodation is new and well kept, facilities and common areas are fresh and clean.
There is an elevator for the luggage. Very much worth the price. ~15min walking to kyoto station and various bus stops close by.
The traditional tatami room was very nice but too much light gets through the windows in the morning and we were not fond of the tatami smell (personal preference).
Also the doors, although very safe, make very loud noises every time it is opened or closed, so whenever somebody uses the toilet at night everyone wakes up.
