I was welcomed immediately by staff, Jerry on reception was very friendly. My room was upgraded. Reasonably priced. It was cool, clean and quiet. Well situated and easy to access.

The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants etc. if you’re lucky you get one of the three parking spaces, otherwise street parking needs a permit which is about £5 a day. The rooms are clean and serviced every day. It’s an old building so expect creaky floors, all in all a bit quirky but in a nice way. Great for a short stay.
The road is noisy but that’s not the hotel’s fault and take your own toiletries as the hotel only provides basic sachets of shower gel etc.

Location to Ally Pally venue and surrounding shops and eating places.
No food served, restayrant closed atbour time of visit.
Rooms are very tired and need renovated. Bed not very comfy.
It done me and my daughter for one night. We did visit during one of the recent heatwaves and the large lopsided aircon unit sitting in basin, with hose hanging out the window was only good if you sat directly in front of it and was very noisy, couldnt keep on through the night. Aircon the room should be sealed to build up a nice cool area, with window open the heat was just pumping in again.
