The Star Hotel was exactly as I expected - primarily a Turkish hotel for Turkish guests. I was made to feel completely at home, and nothing was too much trouble - I was given the choice of breakfast in the restaurant, next to the pool or brought to my room.

Staff and manager/owner extremely helpful who arranged my paragliding trip at a great price and the flight was perfect.
For the price it was amazing, couldn't fault, super clean, great facilities, gorgeous pool.
I thought the place was great and would highly recommend if prefer a more peaceful, relaxing stay.
At the top of town but the local mini busses to downtown/seafront are frequent and cheap.
I guess some may say slightly dated but I was more than happy with everything.
Breakfast was a standard Turkish only which was OK but could get bit boring after few days, maybe add an omelette or some fruit?

The bed was not comfortable and cover provided was too thin and inadequate. I had to ask for more cover as the nights were cold. The bed was so basic and mattress so thin with no head rest and by the end of my stay my back was hurting.
Address the bed issue and provide better bed linen.
