Prijs-kwaliteit is prima. Met drie slaapkamers is er genoeg ruimte voor een gezin met tieners. Keuken was compleet, inclusief hand- en theedoeken en bevatte zelfs een wasmachine.
Ook de locatie is top. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand is slechts 300m. Surfstranden iets verder maar ook nog te belopen. Het centrum met alle voorzieningen, incl. bakkers, vermarkt, restaurants, etc. begint direct naast het appartement. Sintra, Mafra, centrum Lissabon zijn binnen 45 minuten rijafstand.
In deze omgeving zijn met name de oudheden in Sintra en Lissabon spectaculair. Daarnaast is het een werelderfgoed voor surfers. Prachtige golven met talloze bedrijfjes die materiaal verhuren en cursussen geven. Wandelen of mountainbiken langs de kust vergt enige skill en goede schoenen zijn aanbevolen, want het kan stijl zijn.
Het weer was tijdens ons verblijf top. Droog, zonnig, maar door de oceaan niet zo belachelijk heet als in Spanje of de binnenlanden. Temperatuur overdag was rond de 27 graden. Heet genoeg voor een goede stranddag, koel genoeg om er ook op uit te kunnen.
Overall, goed en compleet appartement in een gunstige locatie.
Door de ligging tegen het centrum aan kon het op donderdag, vrijdag en zaterdag 's nachts rumoerig zijn buiten. Rond twee uur regelmatig luid pratende (aangeschoten) mensen die op zoek zijn naar hun hotel, auto, etc. Dat geeft wat overlast. Geen last gehad van luide muziek van de restaurants en bars zelf.
Parkeren is (nog) gratis, maar op drukke dagen soms even wat zoeken.

Z pobytu jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni
Niestety zimno. Ale wiadomo ze portugalskie domy nie mają ogrzewania. Właściciel zapewnił jeden grzejnik ale dla 4 osób które używały 3 pokoi to za mało.

The property is in the heart of Old Ericeira and centrally positioned for easy walks to beaches, headlands, restaurants, shopping, and the central plaza. The balcony is an added bonus for watching the ebb and flow of the town.
The property is exceptionally clean and furnished with both new and heirloom pieces. Landscape views of the ocean, and territorial view of the surf to the South.
Owners are attentive, friendly, and helpful.
Property is fairly priced for the neighborhood.

Cant beat the location. Host seemed also friendly, although we did not meet in person. Gave us a call if everything was alright when i did not reply to his message at the day of arrival.
As we mentioned to the host, the apartment was not in great condition. It wasn’t very clean when we arrived—cutlery and plates were still dirty—and we even found underwear left behind in one of the drawers. Overall, the apartment could benefit from some renovations, especially in the bathroom and kitchen areas, such as the sinks, plumbing fixtures, and toilet, but also simple things like door knobs which are lose throughout the apartment. It also feels more like a personal weekend home for the owner, as it’s quite crowded with furniture, some of which is locked and filled with plates and glasses.
Its not a dealbreaker if location is all you care about though.
