The staff were very hospitable, the room was simple and comfortable. It was a close enough walking distance to town.

Staff were friendly and helpful (allowed us to leave our bags while we were trekking and keep some food in their fridge), despite us not speaking much Spanish!
We knew the hostel was a bit out of town, but it is up a dirt track frequented by lots of dogs which was unsettling after dark! Fine if you're with a group. When we arrived in the room we had to run the shower and taps to get rid of a drain smell.
