Excellent, will recommend if prices were within 5 to 6 thousand

Breakfast was excellent, choice of South Indian, puri bhaji, bread, eggs to order, juices, fruits, cakes/ pastries. All rooms overlook the sea, AC works fine, toiletries provided. Housekeeping staff excellent and quick to respond. Beach is not crowded at all. Hotel has provided for beach huts, chairs, garden umbrellas, life guard.

The check out is at 9.00 am which makes it very difficult for people who travel on Vande Bharat Puri Hwh or evening trains.

room with two bed it was nice. great location.

washroom has no exhaust system. and there was an kitchen exhaust nearby bathroom window and bathroom had a strong stench of cooking food and smelly fish curry. i asked for odonil or some naphthalene balls. they forgot to put toilet paper.

This hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The room is average, the breakfast was very poor, no selection.

Nice location but staffs need to work on customer service

Location is fantastic as well as the breakfast. Easy to get ride to go other places. View from room was outstanding.

- Staffs do not smile and not welcoming at all. - Bed sheets were dirty. Upon requesting bed sheet change the staff started arguing that sheets were cleaned on the same day (changed after back and forth conversation). - Fridge was not working. - Air Condition hanged once restarted. - Commode seat was broken and staffs were aware of it when asked. They were reluctant to fix the commode seat and never felt sorry about it.

awesome sea view from room compensates for all other shortcomings

superb beach view and beach access, good food although spice level was quite generous, ok staff behavior

facilities could be better: refrigerator not working, most of the tv channels were not subscribed, complimentary bottled water was not available after day 1

Sea view from the Premium front room is amazing which compensates all other not so good aspects.

The room itself with with awesome panoramic view of the sea. The hotel is just on the beach barring a road in between.

Food, Check out time Staff's lack of professionalism especially front desk ones.

Staying in Puri always meant staying in Hotel Sonar Bangla. Can never think of staying anywhere else

Breakfast is excellent as always. All members of the staff are very helpful and cooperative. The behaviour of the staff and management is so good that they make the guests feel like home. Indeed this hotel is like home away from home.

Cannot mention anything that I did not like. Everything is excellent and well managed.

While the location of the hotel is very good, I would not recommend it to any of my friends.

Very poor quality and spread of breakfast with tea/coffee being served in roadside tea stall small paper cups since breakfast was deemed to be complimentary!

Upkeep of the room and dining hall. Quality of food. Behaviour of Reception staff during checking out.

A very average stay, Boys at reception can be more welcoming

Great location, friendly ground staffs,

but boys at the reception can be more welcoming. It is not a hotel which I would recommend to foreigners. We were woke up 6.00 in the morning to have a checkout at 7.00 morning. I had a free breakfast option with my booking. But no one mentioned about it and we never got the breakfast. Rooms always remained damp if AC was not turned on. Not worth the money

Over all I was not comfortable with our one night stay and that's the reason we cancelled our cancelled our Booking for two more nights on 16th..& 17th.May 2022, foregoing refund of Refund of pur Advance Payment Rs.8,000/=
