We loved our stay here. We appreciated the special welcome gift...it meant a lot to have this keepsake. Loved the osprey cam for good views even at night. We saw more bald eagles than osprey! The cranes and egrets love this place, and were never far away. We loved the proximity to the state park. Everything about the accommodations was good for us, very comfortable, plenty of spaces to spread out and relax. The screen porch was a very comfy place to relax outside, even in bad weather. Would stay here again without hesitation! Actually hoping to make it back.

This house comes complete! We cooked every meal at the home, could have benefitted from a larger serving/plate set (we had family over for many of the meals). Pantry with odds and ends was well stocked, fridge and freezer worked well, and the washer/dryer was perfect!
Super clean, charming, WARM, everything you need.
We will definitely be coming back for another stay.

My dad died in May so we desperately wanted to spend some time away from home this first Christmas without him. The cottage was lovely. It was exactly what we needed. The location is magical and there were times I felt like I was back at my own grandmother’s house as a child. Thank you.

Super comfortable and cozy cottage. Wonderful views of the river. Incredibly well furnished. Ir even had bikes for us to ride. The check-in process is a breeze.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sabina’s cottage. The property was as advertised. The check in was seem less. Best stocked kitchen we have ever rented from VRBO. We were welcomed with a small fruit tray and special cupcake. Being right on the water we were able to enjoy bird watching. We used the bikes to ride to the state park which has a very cool weight lifting equipment which we tried out. Spent a day on Cumberland island which was fantastic with the wild horses. 9.5/10 we would definitely rent again.

We loved our stay here. It’s right on the water and has a stunning sunrise view. It’s an older home that has been lovingly kept up and cared for. There is a great screened in porch on one end and a really nice Florida lanai on the other end. They both afford great views. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Nice big TV in the living room (bedrooms too). It’s the last house next to the public dock at the State park. They can’t see you, but you can watch the fishing boats go out in the mornings. It’s fun!

Wonderful, restful, beautiful place!
We had such a wonderful experience here. It is a beautiful spot, and the cottage is so nice and well cared for. Being able to explore the state park and just sit and watch the river and the birds was so relaxing. It was a wonderful weekend. We hope to come back!

Pretty much a perfect stay at a perfect place
This is a lovely place. The house is actually more spacious than we anticipated. The sun porch is great. The work done to modernize this cottage was first rate. Furnishings, kitchen, laundry were all excellent. A nice set of kitchen utensils and dishes. The yard is fantastic, especially the view of the waters. We identified about 30 bird species from the property. The osprey platform was a particular treat. We watched the pair via the bird cam and with our spotting scope. We also appreciate the bicycles. Our communications with Stacie were very good. W have stayed in may VRBO properties and would rate this in the top 5%.

Wonderful little spot
My partner and two teens and I stayed here for a week and it was just lovely. We loved watching the ospreys out back and the wading birds that would come at low tide. The park next door was great for bike rides and walks in the morning. The back porch great for meals and when the gnats were out we had our meals on the screened porch. Stacie and Jamie were so communicative and responsive, really going above and beyond to help with any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful river and marsh views
This was a relaxing stay in a very cool location. We loved visiting Cumberland Island. The setting at the cottage was private with large moss-covered live oaks.

Absolutely awesome!
Highly recommend this home it is so cozy & wonderful inside & out! The view is beautiful on the back deck watching boats & birds on the river. Everything about the place is just perfect - it was even decorated for Christmas during our stay! The kitchen & bath was well supplied - very appreciated. The communications from Stacie were above & beyond our expectations - couldn't ask for better attention. Our only regret was having to leave - sure hope to return in the future!!

We All Had Such a Beautiful Time
So many great things to do around this place and the house is a little oasis of green with history and love and beauty. We really loved it. And there's Cumberland island and Amelia island so nearby and the town of ST. Mary's not too far off is also very cozy and quaint. LOVED OUR TRIP and this house. The terraces and yard area are great. All of it. Highly recommend.

Great view, charming house with everything we needed. Check-in and out process was easy and pain-free. Everyone in my group was very pleased with the stay.

River View, Porch Swing, Front Deck, Fireplace ...
Our only regret was that we had so much to do that we didn't spend more time just relaxing at the cottage! River view sunrises are spectacular, especially from the front deck or screened in porch. From the comfortable king size beds to the multiple outside hoses for washing down the boat & all the details in between. We loved exploring Cumberland Island National Seashore on our own boat, launched from the Crooked River State Park boat ramp literally right next door. We would not hesitate to stay again, except we'd plan some "down time" to relax at the cottage! :)
