Fantastic Location! Beautiful Home! Perfect

Location is really fantastic. Perfect car service. We loved every minute in Avignon which is better than we imagined. This home was by far the most beautifully decorated of our journey. Host speaks perfect English and is a writer, with endless precious information on Avignon and the region, with great restaurant recommendations (genuine thaï food we didn't expect)!

Perfect! Heavenly and romantic home!

We had a heavenly stay! A very romantic and comfortable home, with everything you can dream of, and more. It's central yet extremely quiet, near restaurants and cafés. For breakfast, Stephan recommended Chez Lisette, a minute away from les anges, a little bakery-restaurant that serves a great American type breakfast (even sausage and eggs!) and exquisite croissants and sacristins, an irresistable pastry with almonds! Stephan gave precious advice for sites and restaurants (We loved Ripert!) and was available at all times, from parking at his private villa, at arrival, to our departure, and beyond, recommending our next city's restaurant!

We wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

Extraordinary Home and Host

A great find! We were afraid of the crowds, noise and heat during the Avignon Festival but were so happily surprised by Les Anges. It's right downtown, behind the impressive Pope's Palace, it's quiet and the air conditionning is great. We felt like we were in the heart of the action whilst enjoying quiet and cool breaks in our home. The suite is amazing, with incredible marble floors, beautiful old French ceilings and lots of refined artwork. We are seasoned travelers but have seldom had 2 bottles of champagne in the fridge waiting for us, with loads of crackers and candy, and a fantastic free parking at the host's private home. It's easy, safe and free. Stephan is a great host, helpful throughout our short stay, recommending a great restaurant and booking a table for us and giving us precious advice to see the essentail of the city. Also, we're not used to being hosted by an American French writer and guide with so much knowledge. It was a fabulous experience and it's got everything we expected and much much more! We must be back for Stephan's tours.

Refined, peaceful and exceptional

Unique luxury in the heart of Avignon. I stayed an extra noght to enjoy the peace and quiet, with the champagne left by the host, reading the reviews of the Avignon Festival. Stephan drove me to the TGV station… Perfect service. Perfect atmosphere.

Out of this World!

Wonderful welcome! Champagne (2 bottles! Never seen this before). Beautiful decor, perfect AC in a very hot Avignon, cookies, fantastic grain coffee machine, plenty of caramels, and ice cold Coke!. Stephan provided parking outside Avifnon in his villa, about 10 minutes away ; free parking and Stephane deove us to the suite. All for free. Incredible service! Wére staying an extra night. We love it here!

Spectacular.

More than anything, the personalized service and attentiveness. The apartment was beautifully furnished, stocked with champagne, wine, coffee, tea and local snacks. Very nice. We had a electric car and the owner charged the battery for twice.

Fabulous!

It was a great experience for us. Stephan picked us up as agreed at the L'Ile Piot P+R car park and took us in style to the suite in the heart of Avignon. The space is decorated with good taste, you have privacy and intimacy and can do everything on foot in Avignon. Stephan was always ready to help and gave us good tips what to see in Avignon and very good restaurants. all in all it was a fantastic experience for us. We will definitely come back not only for the accommodations but also for Stephan.

Avignon has to be experienced by staying at Les Anges. Your will be within a short walking distance to all the sights. The apartment is not only beautiful and very posh but its location is extremely quiet. Stephan is a wonderful and gracious host who is a fountain of knowledge.

Theatrical and everything you could need in an excellent location.

Stephan was an exceptional host. He picked us up from the train station and supplied everything you could possibly need in the apartment in addition to several treats including champagne and chocolates. He gave excellent restaurant recommendations and made bookings for us. He was on hand at all times via whats app with very prompt replies.

If you are looking for an authentic, luxurious, French residential experience, look no further!

The charming, gracious and helpful hosts, who offered transport to and from Les Anges, who had a bottle of Champagne waiting in the suite, and who gave excellent recommendations on restaurants and local attractions. Nothing was too much trouble, and no attention to detail was spared.

Great memories, super apartment, wonderful hospitality from the owner.

Great apartment located in the absolute centre of Old Town Avignon…. made special by the superb service from the owner ( Stephan) who helped organize trips in the surrounding countryside, special dinners, and gave us some wonderful history on the area ( he is also a historian and an author on the subject). We were spoilt on arrival with our room full of treats … wines, snacks, cognac and chocolates. This was a memorable stay and we hope to be back !

In this accommodation there was an excellent host. The host give very useful and great recommendations about the neighborhood. And alos he made reservations for all the best restaurants. The flat was amazing. It was like a real french apartment.

Les Anges What a Special Find

The property had everything for a stay in this beautiful city. The host Stephan went above a beyond any host or hotel we have experienced in the past. His detailed knowledge of the city made the stay even more special. Giving us recommendations saved so much guess work and none left us disappointed. This property was 5star all day. It rivals some of the nicest suites we have stayed in throughout our travel across the globe. The comfort was perfect and enhanced by his level of generosity within the apartment. Super clean and air conditioned and kept to an amazing high standard. The pictures show you exactly what you are getting. It is so i keeping with Avignon. The location is right in the heart of everything you need in Avignon. A city you must visit if you have not already done so. This will not be the last visit to Avignon as we left plenty for the next venture. I can assure you we will be staying here again. Incredible, Stephan you have certainly shown others how a property should be setup.

Beyond Expectations

Location was second to none; in the heart of Avignon very near the Palace, local markets, Hôtel de Ville and Pont D’Avignon. The suite/studio apartment was immaculate. Attention to detail from the bed linen, seating area, umbrellas, 140 different type of Nespresso capsules, embroidered towels and more; the apartment was most romantic. Every part of layout was carefully manicured by Stephan Caso who went beyond of call of duty to make us feel welcome. Stephan is an exceptional human; erudite, cerebral, musical, wealth of knowledge on most subjects but specifically about Avignon on which he has written much. Spending brief time with him added another angle to our brief stay which painfully came to an end. Credit to you Stephan and we look forward to our paths to cross again... @ Avignon or Londres....

Bitterly regret leaving it.. very short lived stay!

One word - Amazing.

The location was fabulous. The host was amazing. He picked us up at the train station and took us back when we left. He was bright, interesting and extremely knowledgeable to be around. He helped with reservations. Created an elegant home environment for us. We would definitely go back there and recommend the location to everyone we know. Even the jar of candies was superb.
