The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is simple but quite clean, especially the shower water is hot enough and the bathroom is well maintained. Great location!

abundant facilities eg room for studying, make-up, board games, socialise... well decorated and good atmosphere. Free breakfast. Nice duvet and pillow.

Here’s two scenario in which total here. The first is that you’re a student just starting an exchange program at NTU and need a cheap place to stay before you settle in. The second is that you’ve been travelling around Taiwan for weeks and have spent a lot of money. You just need a basic place to crash before flying out. This hostel suits those two scenarios. Otherwise, I’d look elsewhere.
The location is good, near the university and relatively close the Gongguan stop on the green line. The staff at the front desk are very generous and helpful.
The place feels very cramped and run down. The windowless rooms are a little bleak and throw off your sleep cycle. They provide you with one very tiny towel, no hand towel or bath mat. The room has a cinder block night stand and nothing aside from a small nightlight, to make it feel cosy. Very no frills.
