Very pleasant and professional staff, amazing location with breathtaking views to the Besteiros Valley and Serra da Estrela, rooms are big and comfortable (our room had been refurbished - newly painted and new curtains), pool has a great size, breakfast is good.
This is a beautiful hotel bit it needs big investment in the facilities and maintenance all over. Staff at breakfast took too long to clean up the tables and to refill food trays where food was missing. Pool area should have more sunbeds, they are definitely not enough when hotel is at full capacity. More umbrellas as well, there's not enough shade for everybody during the day.

Breakfast is normal / good. The facilities need updating and the hotel needs investment but the location is amazing and the staff is wonderful and very professional. The pool area and environment is very relaxing and quiet. It would be great if the could go back to selling snacks during the day, by the pool.
The facilities need updating / renovating / upkeeping and the hotel is understaffed. The pool needs more sunloungers and umbrellas and the breakfast room, when the hotel is at full capacity, is not able to accomodate all the guests. The hotel needs a little updating and work done to keep the rooms in top condition.

Nice staff, beautiful view and good breakfast in terms of food literally.
Short staff on the breakfast. Only two people for a lot of guesses. We waited the whole meal for two glasses and ended up drinking from the bottle. Also, the bed and the toilet need maintenance.
