The view was amazing, and one of the main reasons I booked here - as well as its location on one of the walking trails I wanted to do. I loved the balcony in the room, and everyone was so friendly. I had dinner there on the first night and the food and service was great, and the breakfasts were also really good - good coffee and a great selection of pastries, fruit and cereals and yoghurt, toast etc, as well as the amazing view from the outdoor seats at the restaurant area.
I personally did not have an issue with this - I love walking and the walk down to the town was fine for me, it took less than half an hour. I did get a taxi to the hotel from the train station when I had my bags with me when I arrived, and if you do not like walking - especially up hills - then you’ll want to have a car or arrange a taxi (there are not so many in Stresa!)

L'albergo ha una vista spettacolare e degli spazi comuni esterni molto belli. La colazione è stata molto ricca con bellissima vista lago.
Purtroppo non c'è ne l'aria condizionata ne qualche ventola all'interno delle camere e quindi nei mesi caldi fa un caldo insopportabile allìinterno delle camere. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti ad aprire neanche le finestre perchè ci mangiavano le zanzare.
