Nice stay only problem were the beds

the location is really perfect - its located directly in the middle of the old town of varese. the room was really clean and quite big.

it was quite loud because of the restaurants location directly underneath the window of our room. also you should keep in mind that the breakfast ends at 10 as well as the checkout is at 10 in the morning.

Everything was perfect! Cozy, clean, quiet, good shower, great location and friendly staff. Plus a tasty restaurant just downstairs

Good relaxing stay, quiet, excellent restaurant.

I like a healthy breakfast, the muesli, seeds, dried and fresh fruit selection at the Albergo Bologna would embarrass most large modern hotels. which is why i personally choose the Bologna, the coffee is excellent, if you like cakes, croissants and local meats and cheeses, fresh bread etc its also a winner - however they dont offer cooked breakfast if that is your thing.

Parking, like most hotels in Verase is difficult - Its on a one way street and they do have limited parking which is first come first served. If you cant park its a long detour to the multi-storey which I use which is a 4 minute walk, 7 euros for the night, it closes at 10pm and opens about 7 so is fairly secure.

this hotel would be better described as “restaurant with rooms” not renovated in its decor and yet functional and welcoming restaurant is a must oozing atmosphere will be back

The restaurant is the best in the city, the breakfast was enough and the room was warm, and very clean. The staff is very helpful and tries to make your stay very pleasant.

Quirky hotel in a good location.

The restaurant below the hotel was good. Size of the room we had was excellent. Although we were unsure at first, the location turned out to be pretty good too.

Poor quality towels and small shower cubicle but that's being picky.

The staff were fantastic. I fractured my ankle and they did everything to accommodate. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable beds. The restaurant is top notch, generous breakfast with excellent coffee, constantly replenished. And the location is great on edge of the old part but with very good public transport to outlying areas.

The air conditioner is not very effective.

Great hotel, lots of value

Great hotel on the edge of the pedestrian zone, a short walk to everything. Affordable parking nearby. Good breakfast, had a meal in the evening too - I recommend the restaurant.

Albergo Bologna is a THE place ar Varese. Run by the owner an with excellent and friendly staff, you feel a warm welcome. The breakfast is very generous an delicious. With the fantastic experience at the restaurant, we were hooked

Very good hotel in the historical center of the city... absolutely great food!

Superb restaurant; good breakfast. Room was small but clean and confortable and reasably warm. WiFi OK.

TV was faulty, but I didn't need it.

breakfast was fabulous. A little expensive to eat there every evening as cover charge involved. Food great and waitors and staff lovely.
