Beautiful furnishings and setting to eat. Good food. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Location was great for me as visiting friends. First stay in a gorgeous room. Very comfy beds
Room I stayed in last could have done with furniture repairs and bathroom needed attention. Carpet and walls needs cleaning. It was a disappointment as this want the usual woodman quality

A little bit remote but a very nice area
Easy to get to the main road to and from Huddersfield, a bit tricky to get there from where we travelled from

Gentleman on reception, not very welcoming.
Overwhelming smell of bad drains in room 9.
We had to keep the bathroom door shut
